Yes but even at 1 C wouldn't this battery be above the amps for the cutoff off switch? In other words the Provari would cut off before this battery passed it's safe discharge rate.
The cutoff is monitored by the converter for
amperage at the coil, not at the battery. The actual battery amperage can far exceed the 2.5 amp (V1) limit. In Provape's example (below), the actual battery amperage pulse can reach 8+ amps.
That's the reason high-drain
batteries are recommended.
