Quick question

I just ordered my first provari and ordered one of the new batteries. I have a battery from a mod I don't have anymore and was wondering if it would fit in the provari. I'm doubting it as I have not seen this batt mentioned anywhere, but it's the AW IC (black) 18650 2900mah. I was thinking maybe with the spacer that comes with the new batts, or is the diameter too large? TIA

The diameter should be the same. The fact that it is an 18650 defines its diameter as 18mm. Using the spacer ring should work fine.

Very true, I know they are larger than the red aw 18650, at least in length. I don't have one in hand anymore so can't compare it to the red. I do remember it seemed larger in length and diameter when I used it in my grand, but my memory could be wrong on that

It would be a couple mm longer because of the PCB.
