18650 batteries - which should I get?

Hi there,

I'm getting an eVic from Suthrnbuckhunter's co-op, and I'd like to know what brands of 18650 are good as a backup. I don't know the details of what batteries can be put in an eVic, but I do want an extra 18650 so I can vape without worrying about my battery dying, so I'd appreciate some input.

If anyone can help or provide guidance, thanks!

Newer kid on the block, Steam Monkey has Panasonic CGR18650ch for $8. Do a ECF site search to read about them.

Everyone has been recommending the Panasonic batteries...and Hoosier has them on sale for $6.40. Looks like I'm picking a few up!

AW's work, as does the nHaler kick battery (18650). Those are the ones I've tested so far.

The Aw 1600 mah is very good (better specs than the 2250 even) and also the MNKE 1500mah,,,

Only in max discharge rate (which vaper's will never use). The CGR18650CH does better in all other areas.
