Hello everybody, I'm a new poster but a not so new vaper. I started with a Volcano Inferno kit but after getting tired of having to be tied to a USB port for the pass thru, I went to a 18650 battery system. Due to my work schedule I have problems with keeping my batteries all charged up. I have a two battery charger and was wondering if anyone knew of a charger that would charge more than two batteries at a time? I did a search here but didn't find any info that helped.

Thanks in advance
Steve

why not get more than two batts? i don't think i'd feel safe with anything less than 3 and 4 would be great... charge two. keep em in your kit, and while youre vaping one, have the other two on the charger, then you've got 3 charged batts, 1 discharging batt, and keep em in rotation? i had to have 3 ego-c batteries in rotation before i got the twist, now i keep one regular batt sitting charged for when i kill 1000mah

Well I have six batteries (and working on getting more for back up). One in my LT and two in my case leaving three at home. I was just looking for something that could handle more than just the two batteries at one time.

Thanks
Steve

Well most of my batteries are not so new...lol. Three of them are the aw's that came with the LT. And the others are AW wannabe's I think. The last three have never lasted for more than 8-9 hrs. Tops. And like I said the first three are getting on in age and they may only last ten hrs.
Have new ones on the way but still want a charger that can handle more than two at a time.

If 4 total bays would work, I'd go with two WP2 II over a single WP6. The WP2 II will let you select 1A max charge rate, helpful on big batteries. I just picked up a second WP2 II, $13.50 (and fairly low shipping cost), from 310vapers.

(My setup is a $10 Belkin outlet timer, drives a multi tap outlet, 2 WP2 II chargers. Timer turns everything off after 3 hours -- the WP2 II has a trivially low discharge rate when power is disconnected, as well as a very nice charge characteristic.)

Also, what batteries are you using? 2 18650's should last the average vaper 2-3 days. My 1100mAh AW IMR 18490 lasts me a full day and then some.

The three AW's I have are the 1600mAh, but as I said these are getting a little old. The other three, the AW wanna be's are 1500 mAh but as I said before they have never been real performers when it came to long battery life. I usually get by with one full battery and maybe a half of another per 24 hr. period. And I guess that's not bad as I am as much a heavy vaper as I was a chain smoker...lol.

Your runtimes makes sense for a boost mod like the LT. When you decide to replace your aged AW's, take a look at these. Should offer better run times per charge.

CGR18650CH Panasonic 18650 Li-Mn-Li-ion CGR18650CH High Drain 10A Rechargeable IMR Hybrid Battery Cell

Here's a comparison with the AW 1600 at 3amps and 5amps.

Thanks a lot for the responses. Going to look into getting one of the newer chargers. And have already started getting new batteries but these are for my new Provari that I just got recently. Got a couple of batteries when I ordered the Provari and then got a couple of 2250 mah batteries for Orbtronics (?) also. Does anyone know if any of the 3000 mah batteries on their site would work in my new PV?

Quick question. I currently use aw imr 18650 3.7 volt, 1600 mah in my chrome lavatube purchased from volcano, will these recommended panasonic batteries fit in lavatube, and work in my existing xtar charger that came with the Aw bats? thanks in advance.

Yep originally using Trustfire Flames (came with the kit)- bought some Pannys awhile ago and haven't looked back. Takes vaping to a new level and I strongly advise those with a Mod, especially VV, to purchase the Pannys. As for batt chargers ALL starter kit batt chargers are absolute garbage- definitely upgrade to the Xtar.

I purchased a WP2-II last week.
The 1A charge rate is smokin!
My 3100mAh AW's would take foreeeeever to charge on my other charger.

No way, I go through at least two a day in my precis. granted i don't run them all the way down but i can definitely tell that they are dropping off.

YMMV.

That post was from before I knew he had a boost mod and 1600mAh batteries. I was assuming >2000mAh direct drive. However it is not unreasonable to assume a full day on a boost mod and a >2000mAh battery unless you are running very high watts.

With a regulated mod you can run the batteries much lower that you can with an unregulated mod like the Presice+. 3.2v unregulated is not a good vape for 99% of us. But a boost mod can run right up until the cutoff and still be satisfying. If you change batteries at 3.6v then an AW IMR 1600 is only worth about 800mAh.
