18650 battery for pico mega

I vape using the eleaf istick pico mega since the past 10 months. Since the beginning I am using the 26650 4200mAH Nitecore battery and it works very good.
However, recently, I bought the 18650 3400mAH Nitecore battery and it doesnt fit in the pico mega battery slot. The battery is very tall and so it wont fit. eleaf has not mentioned which 18650 battery to use.

Please can anyone suggest the correct battery to buy. I plan to buy the Samsung 30Q INR 18650 3000mAh 3.6V battery. Please let me know if this is the right choice.

Welcome Ameya. @Coastal Cowboy is more familiar with your mod. I believe you will be fine with 30q. It's what I use in my mods.

Hmmm that is odd. I have the Pico Mega and was using an old old old 26650 in it and it barely fit. Was very difficult to get the cap on and then the cap wouldn't screw down all the way. But it worked.

I had never bothered checking it out with an 18650. I just now pulled the Mega out of its box and tried one of my LG HG2 18650s. It fit perfectly just like in my standard Picos.

The 30Q's should fit fine, but they won't fire the mod at the full 85 Watts. That would take a high drain 26650 or one of the LG HB batteries.

Edit: The 30Q's will fire to 85, but they won't last long at all doing it.

I use a Basen black in my Mega. It fits fine. I use an LG brown in everything else. I don't use high watts, lately never above 21.
