I don't know but I need to buy some 18650s I ordered the rcr123a, now time ofr the 18650s- where did you get your batteries from?

I ordered them with the SB, don't have them yet. I'm just trying to figure out how long will it take, once I get my SB and supplies, to start using the SB? Yeah I'm .... that way, can't wait to get the thing in action.

Will the battery need to charged overnight, a few hours? Can I run down to radio shack and buy a 18650 and charger and precharge it so it will be all ready, or maybe just get a couple non-chargeable cr123a so I can vape at 6 volts while the 18650 charges? I'd be going crazy if I have to charge the batt overnight and I have to stare at it for 12 hours without being able to use it.8-o

I have those batteries from the same auction. Took less than a week to get here. But my charger has not arrived :( so now I am thinking about taking an extenision cord and splitting it and attaching a wire to each end of the battery to charge it. Hubby says go ahead my life insurance policy is paid up. That tells me this maybe a very bad idea. :) LOL

approx 6-1/2 hs later - Now 1 battery is saying it's charged in one slot(green) but not charged in the other(red). Also, the battery I took out early(which should have much less of a charge), I put back in and very quickly charged(turned green in both slots) . Is it possible the voltage regulators are slightly different in each slot and with each battery PCB. Could that be what's causing this seemingly odd situation?

Yes, and the internal resistance of the cells could be different as well :D

I had this sort of thing happen with a battery junction battery..one charged nice and slow..the other said charged but clearly wasnt, then said charging and..well...I put it on the volt meter..1.21 volts..after 3 days it became apparent the protection circuit was trying to save me from myself...battery came low and stayed low, it was below minimum allowable voltage from factory apparently.

suggestion: put a volt meter on it and be sure its not below the what? 2.7 or whatever the minimum allowable voltage is..else you'll be charging till electricity is obsolete

It took almost 12 hours for me to charge my 3000mah batteries when I first got them. Both went in the charger at the same time.

I'd have been nervous at 6 probably, but at least they charged LOL. A good way to confirm all is well with the world is to check the voltage when you first get them...Voltmeter time...then if at like 6 hours they still say charging, pop them out and check...an increase in voltage means all is indeed right with the world..its just turning too slow for your liking!

Thanks for the advice. When I got home from work, I had access to my multimeter. Both batteries eventually did charge to 4.2V(Actually4.22 and 4.21). Apparently, I've read, this particular charger can be a bit tempermental when charging batteries with PCB protection. Also, each channel is slightly different. But hey, it works, and I can certainly live with a slight aberration in charging.
