18650/Evercool mod

Here's my just completed Evercool 18650 box mod. This is a gutted 2C battery box, switch, and connector from madvapes, an Evercool module I built, double 18650 battery holder from Digikey, and 2 2900 mAh AW 18650s. Thanks a million bigblue30 for the Evercool thread. I started out using a couple of 16340 LiFePO4 batteries but they would only last me 1 to 1 1/5 hours. This is more like it.

WOW! That is one nice mod! I bet you get a couple of days out of that one, huh? I can get about a day and a half to 2 days on my 14500 evercool. Looks very clean inside too.

For future reference you always want to stack 3.7V cells for regulated mods, not enough headroom with 3V Li-PO4s.

A pair of these would have given you similar runtimes to those Biggie posted.

FWIW I would have opted for the cheaper AW2600 Li-Ions. In 2A drain tests they maintain a higher voltage longer than those expensive re-badged Panasonic 2900's you got.

Very clean looking mod.

That's yet to be seen. I am a heavy vaper. One of these batteries lasts me about 5 hours in my Omega, so I would expect this to be in the same ballpark.

WillyB - The LiFePO4s were some I had, as are these AWs. I may get a pair of the 2600 AWs since I will need a set while these are charging.

Posted vape times are always all over the board. On the other thread a member with the same setup with TF2400 cells says he gets 10 days. But he put that into perspective when he said 18ml of eliquid.

Juice usage is certainly a much better way to measure battery life. I am going to have to measure my usage in ml. My problem is that I switch juices many times during a day.

I usually have 3 mods loaded with various liquids laying around the house that all get used in the course of the day. I sure wish 18ml would last me 10 days.

A bit more ... I was vaping from 3,8v. in a Clearomizer at 6 days. and 4 days with a Tornado-t atty at 4,2V.
I measured all the liquid with a syringe.

After 8 days of vaping, I thought i have made the first eternity machine
