Your car battery can safely output over 500 amps in 0 Degree F weather.

And your car battery can really hurt someone if dropped on them from a second story balcony (grandma still hasn't forgiven me but come on, it was a trap for a coyote. As a person, if you see a steak hanging from a string, you suspect something is up and leave it alone . What kind of a person sees a hanging steak in the backyard and thinks "oh, free steak!"?). You'd have to be much, much higher with an 18500 to really hurt someone.
