Anyone use GTL 18650's on their GGTS? I hve 4 on the way and would hate to find out they don't fit.
Just an update the GTL 18650s do fit. I must say this is a beautiful device. I think this will just stay at home bc I don't want to scratch or drop it.
I agree. GGTS is made for hard use. Just keep it clean seven my friend.
I'm sure that is true, but they are so pretty and shiny that it is hard to think about putting a scratch on it. 8-o
It's kinda like a new motorcycle SR. You're gunna drop it eventually, so when you get a new bike, stand it up in the driveway and let it fall over. LOL
LOL That's one way to look at it I guess.My GG TS falls off the truck console a lot and gets dents and dings in it. It doesn't bother me anymore because I know I can pick it up and take another drag....LOL

I bought a couple of the ICR123 UltraFire batts 3.7v from vaporkings when I got my GGTS. I also have the high drain AW battery and some 3v tenergys (blue)... I was wondering if the AW IMR16340 is the same size as the UltraFire battery? It is the same battery just AW's version right? Anyone notice a difference in performance with this battery versus the UltraFire?
The IMR is actually a tad shorter because there is no protection circuit. Also the IMR cells are lithium magnesium chemistry and not lithium-ion like the UF 3.7v's. AW does have a black li-ion 3.7v cell which is about the same length as the UF's because they contain protection.
Thanks Rob, yeah i found those black 3.7 ones you are talking about.. No problems using the 3v-3.7v charger i bought from you with these black AW's right?
I've had no issues using that charger with them...but with anything, your mileage may vary.
