18660 mod clone of good quality with good locking ring of recessed switch.

So after a lot of research I'm looking for an 18650 22mm mod with a good locking ring or recessed switch with an easy lock ring. I have a vanilla clone and it's meh. Would prefer stainless or brass. (I find copper clones use cheap copper or quality is lacking).

Can anyone give me suggestions on one?

It works awesome and has a recessed switch with a smooth turning locking ring. The switch is awesome with an incredibly short and light throw.

Looks good with a smok Caterpillar too...


I also have a Launcher with a recessed switch (no locking ring) and it is very heavy and a solid performer! $16.79 Launcher Telescopic Mechanical Mod - stainless steel / copper contacts at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping (the pics on fasttech show the button sticking out a little but mine is perfectly flush, I'd say they need to tighten up the switch in the pic) The only downside is the top tapers to about 20mm, perfect for a Trident V2.

I second the Paps clone. The lockring is easy to use and even unlock it won't fire if set down on a table. The switch action is very impressive for a clone.

The one recommended above seems to be popular choice. Other options are the 4nine mod and the Atomo.

That GP on eBay looks identical to the one I got from fasttech. I have no opinion on the buffalo.

I would suggest the Turtle ship V2 brass clone from Fasttech, I really like mine, and now they come with silver plated brass contacts.

The Cronus is about $40, and is not a recessed switch, but has a very easy, one-handed, 1/4 turn lock ring. I like it but I'm still going to buy that Paps clone!

GP clone is very nice. I shimmed the button for a feather touch throw on mine.
I have the brass one. Lock ring is slick as glass, recessed button is butter smooth.



I also have to say the launcher v2 clone is a superb option.
It's a super solid telescopic mod with copper contacts.
