Many new vapers start at 24mg. It's not too high if it doesn't feel too high for you. Everyone is different. I think you should vape at whatever level it takes to keep the cravings away. Once you detox from the cigarettes and all the 4,000 other nasty chemicals in cigs, then you can worry about lowering your nicotine level if you choose. If 24mg is too high, you'll feel it. If you start getting nausea or headaches or feeling lightheaded, then lower it a little. I started at 24mg and am now vaping 16-18mg most of the time. Sometimes in the evenings I'll vape some 12mg juice. It's an individual thing and usually has very little correlation to what you used to smoke. Good luck.

I started with 24 and loved it for 3 or so weeks, but I'm starting to bounce off the walls. Fun, but I'm starting to cut down. You'll figure out the right mg. Don't worry. Your body will let you know what's not working. Start high and work your way down. It's a lot easier than being "unsatisfied" and resorting to analogs when all you really needed was a little higher mg. Hope you find your sweet spot

I vape extremely hard and often.

It will ultimately come down to personal preference regardless of what suggestions you're given.

I find that because I am always pulling on juice, 18mg is plenty. I am actually going to go down to 9mg and eventually no-nic blends.

DIY the same flavor (or if you don't DIY, you can buy the same juice if you have to) in variations of nic-levels.

switch between them and see if you notice a difference and go from there.

I could honestly vape very low level nic blends and still be satisfied - see what happens, and enjoy yourself in the process

I've been all over the place. There is no norm.
I started at 24-36. Went down to 12. Sometimes 0. Back up to 24, and have settled in at 18. Seems to be working ATM.
as they said before me: your body will show signs if it's too much, and it's OK to experiment. Just don't go vaping anything over 50mg!
(ask boB. He'll tell you the horror stories!)

Yeah- I think I'm just too new.. The problem is that I expect for the analog taste. More or less, I won't be going back to analogs but my jaw getting sore from inhaling too much.

More or less I'll just buy a few bottles from 18,24,36 and play around with that. Every now and then a good vape with nic is good. I just need to get there.

Thanks for your guys help.

Yeah I was a 2 1/2 pack day smoker for over 30 years. Marlboro Medium 100s. I started with 24 mg and at times it was not enough nic. I had to vape very heavy. Now after a couple months the 24 mg seems just right and I vape less. I am a DIY mixer and my last 2 batches are 22 mg. Letting them steep for a week and will let you know how it works out. I hope to ease down to 18 mg. Still have analog cravings when I drink.
