Hi--I found this on the vapor station facebook page thought it was interesting

Thought e-cigs were a recent development? Think again! The earliest introduction of the e-cig can be traced to the 1960s with Herbert A. Gilbert’s patent of a “smokeless non-tobacco cigarette.” Share this with fellow history buffs!

Ahh, I remember seeing vapestars post this on IG a few weeks ago, then I googled up a interview with the inventor. Very interesting stuff indeed! Although, I believe this product was designed to vaporize the actual tobacco itself, not any type of liquid.

First I've read of this.

Thanks for coming in today!

I'll also add that in the 60s series Star Trek, Dilithium is the energy source of the future. Coincidence? I think not!
In the original Star Trek it was lithium, from Star Trek the Next Generation, 1987, onwards it was dilithium (I can't remember if it was lithium or dilithium in the earlier movies). Trekkie Ken :)
