The Naut? You mean the Atlantis?

The Atlantis is a single coil...still don't really understand how the wattage at similar ohms can vary so much.

Also, on the stock Lemo build it never seemed to get so hot. I think the stock build was a 1.1ohm build, although I didn't play with watts that much to see what it was capable of. I was very happy with that stock build, now just need to try and replicate it somehow!

Rip tripper has a good Lemo build tutorial. Its the same build I used when I used my Lemo and it works perfectly. Search YouTube for it.
Next issue, at .7 ohms and 7 watts, you shouldn't be having any burning. With a Lemo at .7 ohms, you should need at least 20-30 watts just to make it work good. Either your mod doesn't have step down or you're reading voltage instead of wattage or there's a problem with your coil. Straighten all that out, then we'll explain what happens with too much wick. Rips video covers wicking too and its a simple build. Good luck!

I did another build with a spaced out coil, there doesn't seem to be any burning this time around persay. But I am getting hot, somewhat dry hits with not much flavor. Ended up being a 0.64ohm build.

I must be doing something wrong, I'll watch some more videos. I did watch rip tripper's video, but a bit difficult to build and watch at the same time. I took two pictures, but I'll hold and post later today or tomorrow. It seems the flavor is getting a bit better, I put it on 20w and it's not burning at all. Maybe just needs more priming time...but still a bit dry.

FYI I did put a ton of wick in this one, maybe it's too thick? There wasn't much wiggle room side to side in the coil...So what does happen with too much wick? lol

It's definitely getting better!

Pics of my second build ever. I made a nano coil and pulled it apart for better spacing and to get less of a hot spot, seemed to have worked in resolving the heat issue. Second picture with wick - I think I may have blocked the juice channel as I'm getting dry to dryish hits initially, then only when chain vaping.

I've done more research and I think I know how to avoid this, or at least know what the issue is. I will be following this kayfun wicking tutorial, and do a split wick that runs to the channel and alongside the coil: Wicking Kayfun/Russian v2.0 - Imgur

Will reuse the coil and re-do the wicking once I finish the tank. Should be good (fingers crossed)! Next I might try a vertical build that I saw in a Lemo thread, looks awesome.
