Hi there everyone,

I just picked up a generic 3.5ml DCT tank from my local vape shop. The cartomiser inside it is 1.5 ohms. I am currently using a Vamo and a Vision Spinner. I just wanted to know what would be the highest voltage rating I could run with without burning out the Carto?

I currently have used Stardusts, a Kanger T3, and a Vivi Nova prior to get the DCT. Each had their benefits, but then I tried the DCT and WOW!! What a difference!! Great taste and throat hit for me, and plumes of vapor. Thanks again for all your help, and will probably pick up a few more carto tanks down the line.

Just don't want to fry this first carto and possibly turn me off to carto tanks.

Thanks again everyone

I keep it open on another tab for when I'm messing around with voltages on my VV mega. (If you have a VW device you can just assume that 10W is questionable and 4W is minimum..)

One thing to think about- those tanks generally come stock with a dual coil carto in them. DCs can take a lot more power than SCCs can. Using a single 18650 or single 18350 the Vamo will probably hit its limit before it burns out a dual coil.

In single battery mode the Vamo won't be able to put out the entire range of voltage with a 1.5ohm load, you probably won't get more than 4.8v or so before the device limits your power. You'll keep turning the power up but nothing will change. Unless you use dual 18350s.

The spinner won't be powerful enough to burn out your carto regardless of what setting you put it on.
