Well I've had mine for a few days and thought I'd comment. The e-cig is doing fine. I'm still on my 1st battery and it's still working good. I had one bad cartridge, it was leaking bad and I was drawing the liquid in my mouth but that was easily remedied. I must say that so so far I am very happy with the e-cig. One drawback(if it can be called a drawback) is that I really can't tell much of a difference in flavors. But that's no big deal.

I haven't been able to quit smoking my real cigs like I had hoped too but I have cut down so it's not all bad. My wife OTOH really likes the e-cig. I'm still also puffing on my Ruyan Vegas from time to time. I'm down to roughly 5-6 real cigs a day which is acceptable to me.

I will continue to update on how I'm doing. And thank you again Meltrex for the e-cig.

Well my 1st battery finally ran out of juice today. I got a week from it though. I put the other battery on there and I'm back in business, in fact I think this battery may have more "ooomph". I'm getting better vapor out of this one. Except for the last 2 days, using the e-cig has kept me at about 6 real cigs a day. Yesterday and today weren't so good because my back and sciatica started acting up and the pain medicine I'm on makes me smoke like a chimney. However, I still think I stayed around a half of a pack, normally when I took meds I would kill a pack a day easy, if not more.

So, I figure I have made a good choice. 1st with e-smoking in general and with Meltrex's MyEcig penstyle. The product has been great and the customer service is even better.

I was using more or less a cartridge a day. Sometimes 2 a day. But my wife may have replaced some that I'm not aware of too. I wasn't smoking very heavy. I think the other battery is starting to peter out after about a day. I'm assuming this one is more normal. Hopefully it will last me the rest of the day and I can start tomorrow with a fresh battery and a fresh cartridge.

I just can't believe the battery life I got from that one.

hi ducktape...so howd you get a week from one charge? they usually only perform decently for 2-4 hours max usage on one charge...just out of interest, how many cartridges did you use in that week?
2-4 hours? Are you talking about a pen or mini? My njoy penstyle batteries usually last about 8-12 hours. My minis go about 4-5 hours.

Yeah, I'm surprised at these numbers being given for the length of time these batteries are good for.
But you know what, the more I'm using these things the better it's getting in terms of # of cartridge changes and frequency of battery changes.
I think there is real high learning curb here using ecigs and I think we should have a thread re same.
I'm just not sure enough about this to start a new thread to document this "learning curve" just yet but I think it is real.
I think it has to do with smoking frequency, brands and models of ecigs, cartridges used, cleaning techniques, dripping or not, refilling or not, using flavors, etc., etc., etc.

well yes,i can smoke using them for longer, but i was referring to optimum performance.i like to pop in a freshly charged one every few hours if i can,i think it helps.

sorry if i was a bit unclear.
