Hey folks, nice to see this idea is catching on. Im new, and this is day 2 without a real cig. I find that I dont desire one either. Im using the device from the smokingeverywhere.com people. (I find out later they are overpriced, and not the best, but hey, its a start).

Anyway, here's an idea I may try... do all no-nicotine carts. And then use nicotine gum or similar. That way, I maybe have a slightly better handle on how much nicotine Im getting. The design of these things tend to make me draw a bit more or harder, so its like relearning to smoke all over again, trying to find that "sweet spot" for draws. By doing gum and a no-nic cart, the physical and psychological addiction starts to get separated. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Welcome Xlar54!

I actually did that very thing when I started [also with smokingeverywhere]. I was doing it mostly because I felt like I wasn't getting enough nic through the device though. It's a cool idea, but the gum is pretty expensive on a per mg level I believe...

4mg X 100 pieces for $50 USD = $0.125 / mg

36mg x 30ml for $30 USD = $0.027 / mg

The absorption is a bit different [mouth VS lung], so I'm sure it's not fair to compare nicotine levels like that either. I don't know what blood nicotine levels do in each case [other than increase!].

I can can also say I've never much cared for the taste of the gum and it tends to give me hiccups and heartburn, so I stay away now.

I got an e-cig I like now, so instead of a placebo + nicotine, it's all [pretty much] dialed in for a single process.

Good luck for whatever works for you!

Welcome to the Club Xlar54.

A LOT of us didnt make the best choices for our first purchase :p
I personally didnt go with a good company, but at least knew what model to get at first :)

Every one here does things a little bit differently, but thats fine, no reason we all need to uuse them the same, thats what makes E-cigs great, they can be more to more people that way.

One guy here, some Banana Joe wannabe (just kidding Bob) :p He keeps a stash of EVERY kind of nicotine product to use along with E-cigs and he does great that way.

We all went through a Learning period to get these to preform the best way for each of us. It takes a couple days, but its worth it.

GL with it.

Yes i also started with the same smokeeverywhere fraud:evil: and yes you could do the whole gum thing and 0 nic thing but i would just say find a juice you like with a MG nic you like and stick with it cart to drops or what ever you like and when you fell like not having nic at all try you hand at making your own ( have spare parts please) waiting on a janity kiss box and mini
