hello everyone,
im working towards finding an e cigarette that will be suitable for me and I am finding it very hard.
I smoke rollups... very skinny rollups the kind that give the impression i have been in prison lol - and have no idea how much nicotine they equate to. ( about 6mm diameter and 7 cm long)

I probably smoke about 15-20 of these skinny rollups a day and due to Multiple sclerosis i have difficulties with my hands, so am looking for the smallest and lightest e cigarette, ( i tried a friends, cant remember what make it was, but it was too heavy and too long i just coudnt hold it without my hands going into spasm ) and obviously dont want to start taking higher nicotine with an ecigarette than i am currently taking with my rollups.

im sure there must be other people who have switched to ecigarettes from rollups but im struggling to find any information
any advice or pointers would be gratefully recieved ..i am in the UK

Welcome to ECF and congrats on your decision to switch! :D

How much nic= I would probably try 12 mg to start. You may need to adjust up or down, but that should be a good starting point.

As for the lightest brand- there is a cig a like queen  around here who has tried them all. I will go see if I can find her and point her toward your thread. :)

ETA: I found the expert- DawnBella- and sent her here. Look for her answer. She knows all the small models.

all e cigs are going to be a fair bit heavier than a roll up . as for nicotine content i think 12 mg would probably do you. i was A roll up smoker but rolled fat ones and i use17 mg liquid. you could try a cig a like . one that looks like a cigarette. i use elites and the cartridges are expensive but you can refill them for a while.

I agree with the 12mg to start.I smoked 2 packs of Marlboro lights a day and am using 24mg so that sounds about right. You could also try some 6mg liquid in addition to the 12mg just in case its too much.

You can mix the two strengths to get 9mg if the 6 isnt enough.

Best smallest and lightest E-cig with great performance and which is currently winning everyone over right now is the Joyetech ERoll/Ovale eMini. same thing just different branding.

The best part of them is that the are just about 3-4mm longer than a normal cig (they are 93mm long) and have almost the exact diameter and you will never have to buy carts as they use a refillable tank system. Its a little more complicated than how I am making it sound but what you really need to know is that they are really easy to manage and use. Watch a review of them on youtube and you will see what I mean and at least know if they wil work for you.

You can basically hang this e-cig outta your mouth and vape hands free lol. Is that light and small. I must warn you of the downside though, ignore anyone that tells you about it having a small 90mah battery. It comes with a 1000mah PCC (personal charing case, typically looks like a pack of cigs but this one looks like an iphone :)) and naturally you will put it in the PCC in between vapes so during that time it will recharge.

The real downer though is the size of the refillable tank. It can hold just 0.6ml of juice which equates to 3-4 sticks of analogs. It will take all of 5 seconds to refill but constantly refilling may become annoying if you are a heavy vaper. So a good workaround to this is to have more than one tank (don't worry they are crazy cheap) and just have a few pre filled as backups.

Ok i have found an online supplier of the Joyetech ERoll.... http://www.joyetech.co.uk/eroll-kit-and-e-liquid
could someone just quickly explain what i need to buy.. and i will do it now- extra tank sounds good ( hoping they will fit prefilled in the case?)
Also what flavour should i start with, i am hoping to use this to give up, so dont want to like it too much lol...does the tobacco one actually taste much like tobacco

sorry for needing so much support, i find it vey hard to sort through and take on information, which meas i usually get exhausted researching and then dont het round to buying. And i want to get myself set up and shot of smoking tobacco asap.
many thanks again

Hello & welcome Nikstar :)

I'm also in the UK BTW. I think the SD key ring is the smallest & lightest -

The SD KeyRing Ecig £13.99 - Basic Vaping Kits - SD KeyRing Ecig Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

It comes with a couple of prefilled cartomisers but you can refill them with e-liquid of your choice & any 510 SR cartomisers will also fit it. Use discount code ECF10 for 10% off from the above vendor.

Also here is a list of other good UK e-cig & e-liquid suppliers -

ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES UK - E-cigarette/E-liquid Vendors List + discount codes
