Hey All!

I have yet to start vaping, I ordered my Bloog Maxx Fusion on Friday and I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

First time I saw an e-cig was a few years ago a buddy had one at the bar. He let me try it but I didn't feel the hit was like a real cig, novel idea, but not for me.

A friend of mine showed up with one a couple weeks ago and I tried hers, still terrible hit. Again not for me. Then I was talking to my uncle and he loves his. Said I had to do research and sent me here. I had NO IDEA! After about a week and God knows how many hours I spent searching watching reviews and reading, I ordered the Bloog.

I'm pretty excited about trying it, sounds like its really good. I hope it lives up to its rep.

Anyway thats the Cliff Notes of my story.

PS I usually don't bother with the New Member forums. I'm on so many forums I usually just jump right in, but it seems I have to post a bunch here before they let me post anywhere else ~shrug~ Oh well, now you all know me.

What's up Dude! Welcome to ecf. You made a good choice on your first ecig imo. I love my bloog. I'm sure you already know, but the model # for those is a krd808d-1. You can get other batteries to use on it if you aren't a fan of the auto's(no button), and want to try a manual(has button).I doubt you'll find a better cartomizer though. Something else that you'll want to do, is order some juice to refill your cartomizers. You'll save lots o cash refilling. Good luck, and let us know how you like it.

I actually ordered a bunch of pre-filled, (I'm worried about the nic level though. I ordered 18mg and now I'm thinking I should have ordered the 24)

I also ordered some juice off another site (just a bunch of small trial bottles) I think I may have screwed up on those too as I got 50pg/50vg I read after I ordered that the Bloog Carts work best off a higher PG like 80/20.. I don't know, we'll see what happens I guess.

Don't worry about the 18mg you'll be chain vaping the first few days anyway its probably best you don't have too high a juice and you can order 24 and have it in a week when you have started vaping about as often as you smoked. IMHO YMMV

i was a heavy smoker, about 1.5 packs of newport 100s a day. i found 36mg my magic number, but now 24mg is fine too. im sure i could ween myself down to a lower mg now but dont wanna lol. but my girls step father i converted was also a PAD smoker and hes just fine with 16mg, he says my juice curls his hair lol.

Nic level varies person to person, but imo 18 to 24 is a good place to be when you get started. Like stated above, you'll probably be using the heck out of it.. especially if you set the cigs down right off the bat.

Got another question, in two parts I guess.

1. Where do you guys buy juice? I ordered from freedomsmokeusa.com It seemed pretty good

2. How do you decide what to order? I get so overwhelmed by all the choices I'll go look for a bit then just not order anything because I just don't know what to order. (I guess I'm afraid of making a bad choice) lol!

freedom is good--just ordered from there this weekend.
TastyVapor is also good.
Honeyville is a newer one--just got some of theirs last week.--All good so far.
Lot of people like backwoodsbrew--my only batch so far from them has not much flavor.
Same with MS T's many like it--mine getting a little better after sitting for a month.
Gourmet vapor is pretty good.
Sure you will hear about more
I never can make up my mind either about what to try.
There are many threads about favorite juices--I read them and just try what is most liked .
Read -Read-Read--but everyone has diff tastes here.
One will like XXX from YYYY--the next will hate it !!!!
It is like a treasure hunt of sorts

Welcome to ECF! Don't stress too much about which juice to order, we've all ordered stuff that "sounded good" but winds up being our "use it in a pinch" juice. You'll find, as you smoke less and less, your taste will change too, so the small sample bottles are a good place to start. If you find at least one that you like, go ahead and get more of that one to tide you over while you experiment. Everyone's taste is different, so take all the juice reviews (for flavor) with a grain of salt.

I'm thinking a higher Nic level anyway. We'll see how these do. I'm hoping it comes tomorrow.

I'll toss in a plug for Tasty Vapor. You can get 36mg and then get a doubler (no nic) in the same flavor. Get some empty bottles and you can adjust the nic as desired. Not a bad option when you're new to it.
