Last night I seen the 1st TV commercial where a Lawyer is saying. If vaping has caused you health problems call us. This is ridiculous, the people dying and getting sick from vaping is caused from the Drugs they add to the juice.

I am so upset that the NEWS MEDIA is running this every day and they fail to add that in a resent poll of these deaths, illnesis, etc. 75% of the people admit they add THC to the juice and 25% admitting THC is all they vape with.

If the GOV. was getting tax revenue from all vaping products you would have no GOV WAR ON VAPING. Its all about the FEDS loosing tax dollars and Tobacco companies loss of sales.

Uh, I am sorry to tell you, there are going to be a TON of class action lawsuits.

1) vaping injuries
2) teens saying the product they stole made them addicted and harmed them.
3) No clue but the lawyers will figure it out.
4) same
5)same

100) Same.

I am sorry but this is how it is going to go. I have ZERO doubt. They will be civil suits and the government cant' stop those. But, they will not be aimed at BT they will be aimed at vape companies, people who sold vape products, etc. BT is not going to care. Because their entry into the scene (IQOS) is not technically a vape product or so I hear. It is classed as a tobacco product.

The BT pods that are tobacco/menthol will get exempt from suits as there will be specific assumptions and laws that protect them.

Just my guess but lawsuits are INEVTIABLE at this point.

My post was not a complaint of if people can sue, we all know you can sue for anything getting it done is another thing. My vent was pointed towards how fast the lawyers jumped in after the Gov Vaping War resently went viral on the News(daily reports now).

When someone puts drugs in their juice and dies, their family is up a "..it creek without a paddle" if they try to sue. Now if they're in one of those crazy states like C. they may be able to get it done. That state's supreme court is now allowing people to sue tobacco companies over cancer.

As I said before, if the FEDS where getting taxes from vaping you wouldn't see this Gov War On Vaping.

I started to see these ads a couple years ago, when people were blowing up mech mods.

I'm in Indiana and this is the 1st Lawyer ad I have seen that targeted Vaping, in your state or a channel I don't have they may have aired them before.

What the Gov and media is not broadcasting is that drug-infused e-liquids is what's killing them. Saying this would jeopardize their War On Vaping narrative.

If a drug is added to a cigarette, can of coke, nasal tube spray, or anything else and the person dies of get sick. You can not blame the makers of these products, that is exactly what the FEDS are doing with vaping.

Someone puts a big engine in their new Ford so they can go 200mph and they wreck and die, you can't sue Ford

It’s a very famous legal scam. You may be interested in reading up on the Corning silicone breast implant lawsuit. It was one of the latest and most successful.

No, it wouldn't have stopped it. The government plans things. It had to drum up sufficient hate for ecigs while allowing BT to come up with their closed pod systems, and hate was necessary and hysteria.

Yes, it would have been nice if they had taxed my NJOY. I also would have LIKED it if my NJOY had not provided me with a script to say while vaping on planes.

VAPEVERYWHERE was doomed you think the smokers OR the non smokers were gonna stand for that? COME ON.

Also civil suits can arise at any time, the fact that the Fed gov't drummed up outrage is irrelevant.

YOGA This instant. Bye but I disagree.... LOL.

Yep. This is a game as old as the hills... or at least as old as TV. No need to get uptight about it. The ambulance chasers place these ads on the off chance there’s a class action law suit. They claim to represent you, but they never actually file. But, as your representative, they’d be entitled to a share of your award, should you win.

There’s no way to class action this though. There is no one vape company to sue.

I doubt many people would sign up, unless they’re so dense they think they can sue someone who sold them drugs on the street - reminds me of an episode of Cops where a guy called the police when he was ripped off in a drug deal lol.

Its kinda like lawyers looking for class action cases for say breakfasting. Yes it kills sometimes. Salmonella in them eggs you say? Sue the egg manufacturers. Obesity? Sue Kelloggs because the of course make sugary sweet cereal and Eggos that you cover with tons of fake maple syrup. Yes lets sue breakfast.
