Can I use the 2.5Ω 510 Atomizer with a regular ego battery? I know that ego is 3.7v but it says this atomizer is for 4.2-5v

IKV 2.5
The stock atty for the eGo meters at 2.2Ohm, therefore you are good to go. I also support what MWA states wrt battery longevity using LR attys (read 1.5Ohm) with eGo batts, but Isaac has a 2Ohm LR 510 that is just sweet for the eGo which is pretty close to stock.

Thanks guys!
Absolutely Bijjo, our comrades are most certainly correct.
2.0Ω is much more recommended for the eGo and is completely safe to use. Due to to the new Bulk pricing we have tied in with our manufacture leaving for a 7 day holiday we unexpectedly ran out of stock. Our shipment is back in transit as of yesterday and will be arriving in under a week. In which we will be expecting LR2.0Ω-HV3.5Ω in both 510 and 306 models which are also compatible :D

Those Carto's are awesome isaac!! I gave an assortment of your carto's that I had purchased to my friend that just got a 5v boxmod and all her problems were solved, she had been experiencing a burnt taste and poor draw. Both problems solved with a higher ohm carto and we all know how smooth the draw on these babies are....Cant wait for the LR n HV attys to get here for my feedimus. It seems like it runs hotter then my other mods at 3.7v so the 2.0ohm LR IMO will work better than the 1.5's n 1.7's I would get at other stores.

It seems a bit high for the eGo, which only puts out about 3.2v on load, but It wont hurt it. You just may not get enough of a vape. I think 2.0-2.3 ohms is better for a standard atty on the eGo/Riva510. You can also go LR with EM 1.7ohm for a warmer, easier vape.

Hey Mark, well it all depends on the user's preferences really. As some folks find 3.0Ω on 3.7V total bliss, others find 1.5Ω on 3.7V the same way. Take Vaporologist for example, his supreme vape is at 9watts for that exceedingly powerful feeling as Switcher is at 6-8 for that easy smooth feeling. Manufacturing atomizers will always have a +/-.2 regardless of manufacture. We aim at 1.9Ω with x amount of internal resistance for the middle ground of 1.5 and standard 2.2/3.0 (depending on manufacture standard) to provide the smoothest feel.

Yes, Iken, it depends on preference. I find the best place to start is somewhere in the middle and adjust up or down from there. For me, that sweet spot is around 1.7-2.3 ohms, depending on my mood, on a 3.2v ego or Riva. I thought I'd give bijo my feelings on the subject. In any case, I DO appreciate your fine examples and the benefit of your wisdom.
