don't see any reason why they shouldn't its just like running a normal carto or atty at 2.5 resistance. if you can when you order them you should let me know how they work dual coils killed regular cartos for me can't use em anymore, some higher resistance would be great for battery life if i could still get a good throat hit and vapor off em

I asked dormouse and she said as long as its 2.5 TOTAL it should be fine. Seeing as its sunday there isn't anyone there to talk to at the moment so I'm gonna try to call tomorrow. warm or cool doesn't really bother me I'm just looking for something better than a regular carto, but easier to fill than a ce2

A 2.5 ohm dual coil is unlikely to provide a satisfactory vape from a 3.2v regulated battery. You'd be far better served with a single coil 2.5.

The deal with the dual coils is that they have a couple of high ohm coils wired in a parallel circuit. If you don't have the voltage to heat up one coil, having two isn't going to help. A 2.5 ohm dual coil has a couple of 5 ohm coils. 5 ohms is appropriate for 6 to 7.4v vaping, but not 3.7 and certainly not 3.2.

the eGo batt with a 2.5 ohm DC will only produce about 2 watts per coil. When the carto is freshly filled with juice, it will be even less and there sure won't be much vapor from either coil at under 2 watts.

it will be 2.5 total, they advertise for the total resistance, the 2 coils won't matter because there wired together the battery won't know the difference it'll be just like any other 2.5 ohm cartos except each coil will probably be 5 ohms wired in parralel

The 2 coils do matter because they split the current and it's the current that does the work. You're going to wind up with about the same heat as a 5 ohm single coil, except it's spread over a larger area.

i ment they don't matter as far as being able to use them on the battery... which is really all the op was asking. it's gonna produce more overall wattage then a single 5 ohm because there's only 2.5 ohms of resistance do to the wiring but yes it's going to be split between the two so they act like they would normally. there will be twice as much heat because it's like two 5 ohm coils working normally at the same time. weather it's going to be a satisfying vape is debatable, a 1.5/1.6 dual coil is two 3.2 ohm coils which by themselves would be nowhere near satisfying but they hit amazingly so two 5 ohm coils might not actually be bad just more mellow then the 1.5/1.6's
