2 amp car to usb adapter ?

Can I use them with a dual coil carto and 5 volt PT in car ?

I figured thats what fried it, I had the DC on my PT at home and just grabbed it without thinking about that . Can you get a car to usb adapter that will work with a DC ?

I don't know of any you can buy but I have made one good for 5 amps. It's the biggest I could go without changing the fuse size in my car.

It's also variable voltage.
