My pass through is working fine. It does take the life out of the atty significantly. Perhaps an 801 atty would be better on it?

Any non-LR atty will be fine. Attys get hot at 5V, it's just the nature of the beast.

ok, I just saw this. lol Thanks. I'll put an order in for one next time.

I havent noticed any issues with my 510 atties on the 5v PT I must say - they work fine, they get hot but 510 atties DO get hot, they get hot when I vape them on the crappy ole normal 510 battery lol. It doesn't shorten their life that Ive noticed.
Candre23 - I keep a spare PT for when mine is being a PITA, I do feel your pain though.

I finally got fed up with the constant blinking and having to unplug and replug the PT. I hacked the USB cable off and made my own PT. No electronics to go funky - just a 1xAA box, a horn switch and a 510 connector. Works great, and I know it will never go wonky on me.

I would love to buy one of these should you make them.

i've been looking for a 1xAA box mod all over. Does anybody make such thing for sale? I think there will be a good demand for it.

It wouldn't be worth it to sell them. You can make your own for only a couple bucks. You can get all the parts you need from madvapes except for the USB cable, and you can get one of those at most dollar stores. It's pretty much the simplest soldering job you'll ever do.

I'd be ever so grateful if you could post a photo of the inside of the box or some instructions. :)
