I purchased a KGo (Gold Crown, made by Shenzhen Kemeile Technology Co., Ltd) 2 batt starter kit on September 15th, Mid October one of them died. Well, not really died.. the battery is still good, it seems the circuitry tanked out. The button blinks twice and done. Won't fire. Kaput.
This morning the same thing happened with the second battery in the kit. Hit fire button, flashes twice, that's it.
Both batteries will take a charge. they just won't fire.
Two Kgo batteries dead in 6-8 weeks. Using mostly cartos, and some dripping.
When the first one died, I grabbed a Smoke Tech eGo, and have also acquired a JoyE eGo as back ups (and I'm glad I did!), but now, every time I pick one of them up, I can't help but think "Is this gonna freak out on me too?"
If there is a question in all of this... am I doing something wrong? I expected to eventually have to toss these things, but not within two months of getting them. And NOT because the circuitry went wonky... What gives? Are all KGos susceptible? Are eGo clones from other manufacturers going to hold up better?
More of a rant, this, because I'm just frustrated by it. I'll survive... but I needed someone who understands to listen to me.
