Right after getting my ProVari (has it really been almost a year ago?) I learned one reason not to tighten down the carto on it. Tighten it too much, and it really reduces the airflow. I just learned another. If you keep the carto a little loose, when it drops off the table and smashes against the floor, snapping off the carto and leaving the threads in the ProVari, it's really easy to use something small and back it out without messing up the threads.

Another testament to the build strength of the ProVari, I put a new carto on it, and it's vaping like a champ.

I ordered a 510 to 510 Connector that should arrive before my Vari dose :2cool:

I have one 510 -> 510 but have another adapter coming. I need to get another drip shield or two and another adapter so I can have a couple of assemblies together to change up flavors. I think the Provari looks pretty cool too with an anodized drip tip and a black drip shield.

I have a stainless tip on both of mine and black shield on the black chrome and aluminum shield on the satin one.

It's one helluva nice set up I tell ya, add a Vapemate with a 6 or 10ml bottle and it goes like the Energizer Bunny :2cool:

same....everytime i check the site for Emp's shields, they're always out of stock lol....and I'm on their email waiting list for em, and NEVER get an email when they are supposed to get them in :p

I talked to the vendor yesterday. They are supposed to be getting more of all of them in stock in about 2 weeks, before the holiday.

lol, I can definitely relate to what you are saying! I have done this a few times myself. My most amazing experience was the time I was working out in the yard and set my Provari down on the ground. A nearby brick wall actually collapsed and fell right on top of my Provari. Scared me to death. It totally smashed my cartomizer and shattered my drip tip, but the Provari itself was fine!

I got a visual of you dropping to your knees next to a pile of bricks and screaming NO! at the sky. LOL.
