Alright first, I just got the L2 510 and the drags seem... sporadic with the 'harshness'.

The next question is, any advice on quitting cigarettes? I smoke the e-cig and it does work... to a point, i still want the real thing, any ideas?

And finaly, my e-cig has a smell when I exhale, not TO bad, but noticeable, is that normal?

On the first issue, I'd suggest experimenting with everything. Juice, flavor, inhale time, etc. When I first started, I had to fiddle quite a bit before I discovered a workable arrangement.

Second - cigarettes. Once I got my rig up and running (with a high mg of nicotine), my desire to have a real cig just... well, evaporated. I was surprised, to say the least. Over the past two weeks I have had a couple, but didn't like them. Again, I was surprised. I still have the urge now & then to smoke an 'analog', but I can usually vape my way past the craving.

Based on reading all of the 'Illustrated Guide to vaping', I ordered a huge variety of e-juice when I started vaping. I am so glad I did. There can be a huge difference in quality and taste (and smell!) from different vendors.

The best advice I can give is this: keep vaping! Don't give up on it yet. Good luck!

Well first off give it some time. Your body will soon associate the nic hit with the e-cig. You also have to give the atomizer some time to settle in. Try for longer easy draws. Make sure you keep your batteries charged and when at home at least, 'top off' the cart with liquid often to maintain consistency.

Folks don't have a lot of experience with the imitation 510 you bought and the newer Dekang liquids aren't drawing any raves either.

For now just keep at it. You may have to look for a higher nic juice if after a couple weeks the cravings are still there.

It's a psychological, as well as a physical adjustment and it takes a bit of time. Personally, I've now been vaping for a month; since I started vaping I might have smoked two packs of cigarettes, mostly during the first week, and that's down from a pack a day before I started vaping.

What level of nicotine are you using? I've recently upped mine from 18-20mg to 25-30 and I have absolutely no desire to smoke a cigarette (though I wouldn't beat myself up if I did have one, for whatever reason). BTW, I got into vaping because I was curious, not because I had any huge desire to quit smoking; as it's turned out, I've effectively quit by accident, because I genuinely prefer the taste and experience of vaping.

It took me about 2 weeks vaping & smoking simultaneously before my mind started associating the urge to smoke as being satisfied by vaping. After 2 weeks with my PV, I put down the analog and do not plan to ever go back. I have been smoke-free for about 4-1/2 months, now.

Just stick with it and it will most likely happen naturally. Good luck on your vaping journey !!
