I'm no expert but I'll try. Hopefully if something is not right, someone can correct me.

I've heard that VG is sweeter than PG.

As far as the "other" PG gives more "throat hit" VG gives more vapor.

Some people are sensitive to PG. Some are sensitive to VG (it gives my hubby an upset stomach)

Cutting with alcohol, I've heard that adding a few drops of everclear adds to the throat hit, but I've never tried it. Maybe they're cutting with it to cut the nic level and don't have PG or VG on hand. Dunno.

Hope that helps ~ P

PG, Propylene Glycol The ingredient in most eliquid recipes that produces vapor. Propylene Glycol, or PG, is on the FDA's list of substances generally recognized as safe, and is used in everything from fog machines to artificial flavors. Reduced PG, VG, Vegetable Glycerine A very small percentage of e-smokers have a sensitivity to PG. That's why we offer an alternative recipe. Our Reduced PG recipe uses Vegetable Glycerine as the main vapor-producing agent to create a similar vapor that is usually slightly thicker.
