Okay,, I like having two tanks. I in general vape a menthol (started a few months back to get off the analogues) I also play with a different flavor juice. I'm not the big dozen flavor girl. Usually have two at the most at one time other than my menthol tobacco juice. Which is why two tanks worked perfect. (problems with one tank, and replacing the decent for something better) This is a vague background so you understand why I have to have two tanks. I switch tanks back and forth during the day because whatever flavor I'm trying out is a very low nicotine compared to my menthol juice. It's working for me great and has helped me cut back my nicotine which is what the plan was from the start.

SO here is what I was wondering about. I had planned to order a good tank system and something doable and just 'okay' for my 2nd. (forget about what i'm using now it's not important:) SO a lightbulb went off earlier and I was wondering instead of using/buying two tanks/systems, What if I get a new tank system and for my 2nd that like i explained is for my lower nicotine/flavor of the week.....I just use a disposable cartomitzer? Maybe not in the long run but just for now. Or should I stick with my original plan and buy a good tank system and a less expensive as my 2nd?

What tank(s) were you looking at buying? And welcome to ECF!

Really whatever you prefer is the best decision. If you've tried a disposable cartomizer and found one you liked, there's no reason not to use that as a second for a while.

There are some very cost-effective tanks out there now. Aspire K1 around 8 dollars on ebay and other places, same with the mini protank 3's. Those have excellent potential for second tanks.

Just that I'm so indecisive, having hard enough of a time picking a new tank (mine giving me problems, i loved it for over 2 months when I started but forget about it, i need a better regardless;) So i'm stuck with a c4 right now and not really liking it since I like bottom coil but so indecisive on a good main tank I wondered how i'll ever pick a 2nd LOL. The minute i got flusted had the thought above almost changed my mind the minute I wrote the thought WOW i'm having problems. My first question on here was a disaster since I've been irritated for a week not satisfied with what i'm inhaling (not enough:) and I dont have a brain without a stead supply of nicotine.

SERIOUSLY THO I MUST order a tank by tonight. I know I shouldn't rush but I don't have a choice. Local shop near by just annoys me to be honest and not helpful. I do not want duo coil. BUT I admit I need enough vapor or I'm not happy. Not looking for a huge cloud as they say, but not into the 'light and super smooth' either.

I almost always suggest Aspire BVC (bottom vertical, these are single) coil toppers. There are issues with all tanks I've seen, BVC or not, but most people get very good use out of the Nautilus Mini tanks. ~20$ is a fair price for a nice tank with adjustable airflow and BVC's. Kanger Aerotanks are also highly recommended, most of the Kanger tanks are great and some of them have easy single coil builds if you're into that.

My vote would be an Aspire K1 if you're looking to save, Nautilus mini if you have a little more to spend, or two (mix and match, two K1's, two mini's, one of each). The K1 takes a different coil than the Nautilus though, so make sure you pick the right ones when buying extras if you decide to go the Aspire brand route.

In any case, I hope you pick something that ends up satisfying your needs. I don't think rushing is a big deal as long as you don't go overboard - just make sure what you get will suit what you need right now, and upgrade later if you have to :)

Every time I pick out a tank system I read something bad about it. Yes I know, anyone can have a problem or dislike anything. I was picking out a nautilus mini as a main tank but seems replacement coil/wick would cost me quite a bit more. I have to watch my monthly cost. I went back to looking at kanger tanks and between picking out a tank and another battery I'm just losing my mind.

Yep, aspire coils are more spendy, which can be mitigated by searching for deals (which is not always going to work, sometimes the full price is the only option admittedly).

If you aren't going for Aspire products, really take a look at Kanger. You'll get the cheaper coils and even possibility for rebuilding coils down the line for even cheaper replacement. I still suggest the adjustable airflow models, but you can get the airflow rings separate I think for some of the other tanks too if you get them instead.

Having read some of you earlier posts, I would suggest an Aspire Nautilus Mini. When the coil goes bad...just replace it! It uses a Bottom Vertical Coil and I would suggest ordering 5 to 10 additional coils. If you are satisfied with it after your initial coils are almost depleted consider getting a 2nd one when you restock your supply of coils. They are easy to fill, clean and replace the coils in. I would also suggest that you look into the eLeaf iStick for your device (battery). Small form factor and should last all day and can be used as a pass- thru while charging. If the cost of the Aspire coils is too expensive, look into the older Kanger ProTanks as the coils are easily rebuildable.

I have a full size Nauti that I use when I'm vaping at home on my Vamo or if I'm hanging out at the bar with my friends. However for everyday work use I buy these True CE5+ ego Clearomizer SS Mesh from Ikenvapes. They're 2.25 a pop and they work so good! I have about 5 of them each filled with different flavors so I can just grab a couple and go.

I should mention I use them on a VV eGo threaded battery.

I sure wont be rebuilding coils/wicks. unscrew the old and in with the new and no I wont change my mind. It's all about my hands/fingers. (RA and nerve damage, if i could use my fingers i'd be crocheting and smoking less LOL) And about that, the airflow control, I wonder if that is what my problem is! OR is it the coils? Here I've been saying no dual coil after reading about them running a lot hotter etc. But if I don't get a good vapor or hit?? I'm not satisfied and if I started out the first month getting plenty of both and one of the reasons I don't know how my daughter vapes on the disposable tanks she uses I feel like I'm not getting what I want. So is this airflow, or dual coil that I need to satisfy me? OR BOTH? I started with neither and was content. Just a bottom coil tank, no airflow control, no variable voltage battery. (figured out must be something wrong with that tank, there is no way that 4 replacement coil/wicks later that they all were doa

and btw, why do we have to choose from a 5ml tank (WAY too big for me) and 1.5? A 3ml tank would be perfect for me if it existed! lol
Also, as for battery, I was trying to be a good girl and pick brains about my tank problems before even mentioning what I've decided for a battery ;) I pulled back from my original first day of posting and begging for help! to keep it one thing at a time! Thought about going to look tonight at the local shop nearby when my daughter comes by for an hour just to get a visual on what I'm looking at online..... but they have just annoyed me thus far. Like when I first had an issue a few weeks ago describing to them my problem all they did was try to sell me a BIGGER battery, I didn't know the 'size' of the battery 650 as opposed to an 1100 for example)) wasn't what 'pushed' my vape! Can you imagine? And this is "THE" go to shop on my side of town. I mean I didn't know until I started reading nonstop online. Reason I didn't to start with is I don't usually like to do a lot of reading on the computer, i homeschool my almost 8 yr old (who is struggling with learning to read) So I read to him a few hours a day and teach and that means from a book, or online so with 'studying' all homeschooling I thought it would be easier to go to the vapor shop and learn what i needed to. WRONG ;) Give me a few more weeks and I'll be wishing I didn't have a back issue so I could get a job there!! ahahahahahaaa

ANYHOW, once I learned it had nothing to do with my battery and it's all about my tank I just don't think I should allow myself near their parking lot even!

There are all kinds of tank sizes out there :)

The Silo Lite is 3.5 ml at beyond vape (google for a look at it. 15 dollar tank).

The Aspire ET-S is 3 ml and costs less than 10 dollars.

Nautilus Mini is 2 ml and around 20 dollars.

Countless other options on size and capacity really, from lots of brands.

My local vape shop isn't all that great either. It's hit or miss with B&M's really. Some people have awesome B&M's who are knowledgeable and easy to learn from. I got blank stares from those at my local.

I abhor the B&Ms in my area.

Everything I buy is online. The Silo Lite is a great tank and cheaper than the Nauti Mini.

However, I'm more "old school" I like my Cartomizers and CartoTanks. For me, they have the absolute best flavor.

If you want the dripping experience without building your own coils and all that I would highly recommend looking into getting some disposable atomizers.

I still prefer single bottom coils, after trying dual coils and BVCs. To me they taste just as good and use way less liquid and battery power. You can get airflow controllers for both protanks and mini protanks, if after you use the tanks you decide you need them.

My personal favorite is the Anyvape Davide, which now comes with a removable adapter so you can use it as a dual coil. The Davide is a very airy draw, so if you don't like airy, that could be an issue. Evod tanks (the original single coil, not the new glass dual coil) are also good. They have a plastic drip tip attached. (All of the others above have replaceable metal drip tips, so if you don't like metal you can change them.

All of the ones I listed above use the Kanger coils. Smok also has BCCs, and there are a ton of generics. For trying secondary flavors the smaller tanks are nice. I also have rheumatoid arthritis and nerve damage, so I don't use the mini Davide, as it is harder to fill. Which brings up the one thing I do love about the full sized Nautilus, which is that it is the easiest to fill that I have tried. And I found cartomizers to be difficult to fill.

Nothing was about saving a buck for me. It's the fact that I want a good tank system and can't afford to buy two of the same and need a second tank. Hence my original post wondering if instead of buying an inexpensive $10 tank that wouldn't be so great if i'd be better using disposables for my flavor playing between my menthol nicotine. I'm not planning on vaping forever. I bought my starter about 2 1/2 months ago to quit. Loved it at first til I had a problem with the tank and too much going on right now and I know I wont quit by the end of the year as planned. I'm a stress/anxiety smoker.
