2 weeks in a now..

So I go outside of my building and vape with the smokers.. my building gets a lot of foot traffic by where people smoke.. I've been noticing some disapproving stares from several passerbys when they see me using my apv. I could care less what they think but made me wonder if anybody has had the same experience...

When i worked inside a building before taking on a delivery route, i used to vape with smokers in the smoke pit during break. I get curious looks and most smokers ask me what im using. Ive even been able to convert some old school die hard smokers to vaping this way.

But at home when i vape on my porch, i get cold stares too from neighbours so im with you there. Its just seems most of the non smoking general population accepts our PVs as the same as smoking. Thats is until they come up to me and have a sniff and find it smelling like a nice rose garden.

Same thing here too man. It really can get to you if you are at a bar and everyone sees you puffing on a vape. They think you were a hardcore smoker in the past.

I always go outside to smoke my vapor though (whenever I can). I find it more satisfying and more like analogs.

I agree with you all.. should have seen the look I got today when this man saw me drip some juice in my RDA. Lol. Well at least I'm not alone. I get the " that's a pretty fancy pipe" one too..

This is going to sound stupid, but that's part of why I rock a cigalike. I'm always freaked out that a cop is going to stop me in my car thinking it's something else if I go for one of the more complex setups...

I am an old lady. I would love for the local police to try to explain to the media why they arrested/harassed an old lady for using her pv to help her stop smoking cigarettes. And I am not a confrontational person but I could have a lot of fun with this one.

Seriously though, it is the young people who help me get my groceries into the car that are the most interested in my pv. I don't pay attention to what other people think.

I have been stopped twice by the police while vaping and driving. Once with my Vamo and once with my Ego-C. Both times the officer was polite listened to my explanation of what I was doing. Watched me take the device apart. Tested my juice with the little kit they carry. Sent me on my way with a good luck quitting.

I tend to drive with a cigalike or at most my ego these days for a couple of reasons. 1. I have very small hands and larger mods are difficult for me to hold onto AND drive safely. 2. This is a small town and ANY traffic stop starts WEEKS of gossip. 3. Most of the time I do not have the half an hour to spare to educate the officer.

I didn't care what people thought when I was a smoker. I care even less as a vaper so I don't know if I am getting strange looks. I did have an experience yesterday though.

I went to a government facility with one door as an entrance and a separate one as an exit. The entrance is where people smoke after checking in while waiting for the bureaucrats to get around to them. I walked past a few smokers using my MVP not even thinking of them. When I saw it was going to be a one hour wait I looked around and decided since it was outdoors I'd just go to where the smokers were (standing upwind of them).

Immediately there were a few questions. One of them commented "I thought either that was an e-cig I'd never seen or you had some real balls". I've talked to 5 cops while vaping and that regular joe was the first time someone thought that, to my knowledge.

I get the attention all the time, some stare at me, some just a glance but I don't care at all, seriously I don't give a f..k what they think. It's not their business to judge me from just a look and know nothing. I'm trying to live healthier than smoke the cancer stick.

I don't use a cig-a-like.
Still haven't been pulled over.

I do get stares, though the look on the faces is most often surprise, wonderment, or confusion. There's a host of things running through peoples minds and I am sure disapproval is one of them.

I have no family or friends that smoke in GA. I get the same as you from non-smokers, even the ones I don't really know, which is to say something along the lines of, "Good job".

You'd think in a town that small the cops could share the information with each other. That way they all wouldn't have to stop you.

I was a passenger the other day when my buddy got pulled over. I sat there with my brass Medius puffing away the whole time and they never even took a second look. I did it kinda hoping they'd ask but nope!
