2 Weeks out of analog and in vaping...

Hello Everyone! Mitch here from Philippines...

Like what the title say, I'm 2 weeks in vaping with my eGo and loving it.
Right now I'm thinking of buying a mod, Silver Bullet and/or ProVari. A friend of mine got the ProVari, so I need to get one too because he told me its like night and day different from our eGo.

Hope to learn more about different devices, e-juice etc etc from all the veterans here...

Hi MitchCollectibles and welcome to ECF. I myself own a Megalodon and a Provari...basically the same setup you're looking at.

Can't go wrong with a Provari to be honest. It's built like a rock, it's VV and it looks flippin sweet.

I would highly recommend getting one if you have the funds to part with. The variable voltage aspect is the best thing I've come across in my vaping. A lavatube is also a great choice as a cheaper option.

@Vapoor eyes er: megalodon is nice! I would love to own one, I think its quite similar to silver bullet but you can make it a mini for stealth vaping. Nice!

@ngabassist26: spot on! VV and the looks is what I want with the ProVari and judging from all reviews I think its of good quality too. Gotta get me one....and FAST! LOL!

You're welcome. As I stated I own a Megalodon (bought) and a Provari (gift). I love both but find the Don to be my mainstay PV. Provari is very nice but is lacking in certain areas and is overpriced. The people that make the Don are just in Beta testing a VV (variable volt).
There's also the VV Lavatube and it's priced very fair. I believe if you were to buy an all mechanical (SB or Don) and a Provari it would be overkill IMHO. Perhaps a better idea to purchase the LT or wait for some Vets to chime in about other VV models. I know there's a VV that has more features than the Provari and is highly regarded but I can't remember the brand.

Yes it is similar to the Don and they are classified as Tube PVs- the reasons I bought the Don:
all mechanical and less prone to breakdown
a 2 in 1 PV
quality
high or regular voltage
I DESPERATELY wanted to quit smoking

I find the Megalodon nice really and I really like the feature it has to make it a mini.
If they came out of a VV in the future, that would also be in my buylist for sure.
You said that the ProVari "Lacking in certain areas" what area is that? If you could be so kind to enlighten me please.
Actually the LavaTube is a good alternative for the ProVari but to be honest I dont like the looks of it I didn't read much about it but I guess its pretty much the same as the ProVari.
SB/Don + ProVari might be an overkill, but I would love to have one of each and I can really rely on....just in case.

This is one reason I want to have a mechanical...I wouldn't want to get one and waste money if we can say that ProVari/VV devices would last and not breakdown in our lifetime.
