A buddy of mine gave me a couple 1s-6s meters (he's an RC car enthusiast not a vaper). One has a red pcb and the other is blue. Are they the same? Also, not having ever worked with one before, can someone point me to a way to wire one to make a self contained meter that shows under load and not? I searched the threads but found most show only the exterior results but not the wiring. If I'm successful I think I might try putting one in a VV box mod but um, where do I insert it in the circuit? Can I put an on/off slide switch when not needed? I have no idea how to read electrical diagrams so basic picts work best for me. Thanks.

By stand alone do you mean a separate small box that you can screw onto the PV and screw a atty to the meter? Just wire the (-) from the batt connecter to the (-) on the meter and continue to the (-) on the atty connecter. Do the same with the (+) from the batt connecter to the the #1 pos pin on the meter and continue to the (+) on the atty connecter. It will read the normal battery voltage and when you trigger it will read load voltage.

The diagram I put installed in a VV mod gives you 4 voltage readings.
