Fallen for her again. Dammit....pops got that lesson into my head early with my '67 Mustang.

Boy. Never fall in love with a car. No I won't help you change out the freeze plugs.

I learned that lesson well, as the poor old wreck was dragged away for $600 and a piece of my soul.

Thought I learned it. The beaaaatch got me again.

Any current owners of the new shiny 2011 V6? 305 HP, nearly the power 2010's GT put to the ground.

Just would like to hear some happy owner stories...I can't find a bad review.

It's a great car but one category that imports have done better then American cars is handling. A WRX, around the same price, will be faster than a Mustang on a track. Once they can get the handling down like a Miata, RX-8, S2K then it will be GREAT.

PS, my dream is to rebuild a 60's mustang. I guess I have to wait till I'm 40 with a beer belly.

I was hesitating on the V6 also, but I can't find a bad review anywhere.

Odds are, this car isn't going to be going on many tracks...it'll be a freeway driver, with a few short bursts before the onramp. Back half of it will be nicely GatorWrapped with company info.

Watching it blow away all the competition is nice. She stomps all 3 of them here...and at 31 MPG.

Directly compared to the 2010 GT, it holds it's own. I'm just amazed....but then again, my last purchase was a Jeep, so I'm easily fooled. I think I'd be really PO'd if I bought a GT that is as slow as next year's budget model.

It would be a whole lot of fun to slap a supercharger on that thing. You'd probably see somwhere around 550 hp.

Yeah, I'm loving the aftermarket already. Car's only been in production a few months and people are drooling over this new motor. Exhaust systems I've heard so far make them sound like a ricer, hopefully they'll come up with something else. Not what I'm looking for here fo' sho'.

I am waiting for the hardtop convertable! Ragtops don't do well in the Florida sun.

Have you seen the glass roof? Was thinking about it, but most likely would pass. Glass roof in the desert doesn't sound like a good idea after further thought. I'd imagine you'd melt in Florida too.

The V6 is a bump up over the old one, but wouldn't that big 5.0 on the side look even better!?

Nice....you're not helping here, you know that? :)

Taking both for a spin this weekend to compare the two. Got manual versions of both waiting for me at the dealer. I'm hoping the V6 is enough for my payments sake.

No way a supercharger would have that engine making 550. lol Maybe 420 with a nice sized turbo and 15#s of boost. It takes way more power to spin a supercharcher than a turbo.

I'm currently looking at a '11 5.0

The key is not to look at the V6 as saving money over the 5.0, but to look at the 5.0 as saving money over the GT500. :D

I'm test driving both the V6 and the 5.0 Saturday. Feels like I'm going to Disneyland and I'm 10.

I'm so screwed. The salesman knows I'm hooked. He laughed when I asked if they had any 5 liter manuals to take for a spin after the 6.

So screwed.

Peanut butter and jelly sammiches...all 3 meals...for the next 60 months.

I'm blaming it all on you....and cutting down to one PB&J sammich a day. The 6 was very nice, and would be more than enough car. I should never have sat in the 5.0. It's all your fault PAV! :p

Does this mean you got one?

I accept full responsibility! (Ford probably had something to do with it as well.)
