I must say....Ford not taking tax money during the auto bailout was a major reason I looked at them. Disappointment with Jeep was another...

Working through the final details, this is the most money I've ever spent on a car before....kind of choked on the number last weekend. The payment is going to feel like a new car with no down, even with my Jeep as a trade in.

She's beautiful...white with white stitched black leather interior...carbon fiber dash, billet shiny bits...and can she dance. The chrome ponies on the inside door panels. ~drooooool~

I'd better shut up now....the salesman might be reading.

Post pics. That is epic 11 second quarer mile or is it 1/8 miles track? My last car ran 13's on the quarter mile and it was really fast I've ridden in a 10 second car before and the g forces on your face are intense.

Quarter mile I think...didn't even get past 4th gear. Did you see the last few launches on that video? The front wheels are leaving the ground! That's a lotta torque. Put that through pully and a belt, you'd rip a dinosaur in half.

I think Saturday's the day.

You should go with adjustable coilovers you can adjust the height of your suspension with them. Tirerack is a good place for tires.

Snow tires for Cali? Up in the mountains or something? Like the previous OP said, Tirerack is not bad. I got a decent of snow tires and wheels from them at a good price.

And dang that's a fast quarter. I think it's usually a mid to high 12 second ride totally stock though. Not that's slow or anything.

I was referring to what the 2011 Mustang GT should do. I haven't driven one, but most reviews peg it at mid to high 12s.

Pretty sure the new Corvette Grand Sport is well into the 11s.

I drive neither.

Batteries are on the charger, pics tomorrow. Brought her home. Performance white GT (I think they based it's performance on the ability to attract bugs). She's a pony, premium interior with white striped black leather. Not sure a white stripe in the pucker radius is a good idea...this car has a pucker factor of 12.

Don't even need seatbelts...ya' stick right to the seat.



So I guess we could turn this into the "who makes the best and cheapest peanut butter" thread now.

As long as there's no fruit in it. First time I saw a bartender put a hunk of orange in my beer I looked at her like she was nuts.

I have some shots of the ponies on the door panel inserts...but they're kind of smudgy. She won't let me post them. I feel the age regression happening already. Even started carrying around a microfiber cloth to hit fingerprints with.

I love the 2011's but I am still attached to my 2008 GT/CS Manual with less than 2500 miles. Here she is but in time I am planning on giving her the paint job like no other She still tickles my funny bone so I'm going to keep her.

She keeps trying to talk me into getting in trouble, but I've been able to resist so far. Got a hell of an attitude, but I think we're gonna get along just fine. I'm finding myself turning off the tunes so I can hear the engine instead.

The Chinese 6 speed manual transmission threw me for a loop. Chinese? Really? Um....ok. Hope they won't blow up in two years like the Mexican Jeep trannies. (hmm. That sounds like bad porno)

No Pony seats here either, the CS seats for 08 comes with two toned leather as part of the upgrade package.

I love the tunes too but I love the sound of the engine more gets me all fired up!
