20x1 hybrid RDAs

Even though this is an atomizer question, I fell that it is really only relavent in this section of the forums.
Google searching doesn't really turn up a useful list, and the only thread on ECF about this had been closed.
I'd like to get a hybrid, M20x1 rda. I know there are a few genesis atomizers that are 20x1, but from what I have seen most of those don't have much airflow (though I'm not opposed to the idea, I'll build and vape on anything).
So, which hybrid RDAs on the market are 20x1 threaded?

you can always get a 20x1 to 510 adaptor and use any RDA... lol.
OR... The Luxe 20x1 RDA? The Fakirs Troy X atty, Nitro, Hellfire, Senio, Versa, GP Heron, f3cta, Bay city, the AQUA, Hamoriko. JM22, Astro, Mister Silica, Ant, the SBS, Fakirs, Orochi are some attys/mods i found doing a quick google search FOR YOU!

No. Please just no.

Big difference in using a proper hybrid atty and one of those janky adapters.

Hybrids are relative safe, while those adapters are not.
I would never recommend using one of those hybrid adapters. One of the worst pieces of gear ever made.

The elm is one of my fav dual coil 20x1 attys.

And I got a couple senio single coils, like 6 bucks on ft. Drilled one out for better air.

The heron v3 by gp has improved airflow now. Its 20x1. Its a tank but set up like a dripper.

The versa rda is still around I believe as well.

Plumes, I appreciate your helpful attitude. The 20x1 mod/hybrid atty list on the FT forums is something I found earlier, however I missed the elm the first time, so your googlefu copypasta wasn't in vain.
Badninja- my praxis already has a pinless topcap (but you already knew that. I'm sure you have at least three), so I was looking for any true hybrid RDAs that would fit.
I disagree that a pinless top cap is inherently dangerous by itself, it is just isn't idiot proof and can make some atomizers dangerous, not only because of the necessity of a protruding positive 510, but also because some tanks + prebuilt coil heads don't have much mechanical support to the + coil leg other than the atomizers + 510, which may float enough to cause the leg to crush and short (kanger OCC heads at least). Anyhow, positive education about pinless topcaps doesn't happen nearly enough.

Nothing is idiot proof, and yes I blame the idiots, but there are so damn many that are starting to vape.
The original hybrid look adapters came before the pinless mods.
They were marketed as a way to get the "seamless hybrid look" that all the new vapers wanted.
Most vapers still incorrectly call them hybrids, and have no clue what they are doing past a YouTube video.
( kinda drives my point home every time I read it).

The "Lower voltage drop" is actually negligible and is only a byproduct of the design, not a factor in it's creation or initial marketing. A true hybrid has even less drop.


Personally I believe about half the members who use mechs here probably shouldn't.

Btw, I believe your point about this sole aspect makes for a neglible difference and I also do get that the smpl isn't the original direct-to-battery topcap/mod, but just wanted to add that direct-to-battery mods isn't ONLY marketed as a "hybrid-look" functionality

Personally i'm a sucker for minimalism and simplicity in general, from my linux distro(arch) to my fav. mods etc. so that is what appeals me to this type of mod design...



Nikea, now that is a great simplistic term for this "direct battery to atomizer 510" mod/topcap concept i.e. "pinless topcap" or "pinless 510 topcap/mod". Thanks!

EDIT: I'm sorry ninja! After rereading I can see that you specifically stated "initial marketing", and not just "marketing", and as I wasen't around at the "initial times" of this concept originating, then I take your word for it's correctness Sorry again!

"Hybrid look" adapters came long before pinless tip cap mods, and way before the SMPL.

They were only marketed as a cosmetic device at the time.

In fact, the first ones made for the nemesis mods actually had insulators and a centerpin.
I have one from back in the day.
