21700 at 65W will most likely not last you a full day, unless you vape very sparingly. I'm running my geekvape aegis max at around 70W, the battery I use is Molicel p42A. I chain vape at work (managers are fat and lazy, leave the office twice a day, so I can do whatever I want) a fully charged 21700 lasts me approximately 6-7h. I always need to have a spare battery with me otherwise no vaping towards the end of the shift (I never messed up so far- got a spare cheap charger at work, and a spare mtl device with me all the time)
Excellent response, thank you for the info

There is a Grus mod and it is a single battery 21700. I forget who makes it. I ordered the Vandy Vape Gaur-21. It was a preorder that arrived the day after I ordered it. I should receive it Friday. It is a dual 21700.
Lost Vape makes Grus. I was thinking about getting one but since I work in construction I decided to go for aegis max- needed something that will withstand tons of dust and getting dropped from time to time

I decided to order a single 21700 also. It is the Aegis Max I hope we like it. Good luck to us, lol.

I was going to get a Grus until I read people complaining that it reads ohms wrong and that it doesn't have preheat. And since it's not made to be firmware upgradable that means non of the above can ever be corrected. NFE tools doesn't seem to be able to find a way to install Arctic Fox on it, either. So I passed.

I guess there's a reason why Eightvape was practically giving it away last week for $20

I've already had mine for about 3 weeks, and I like it. One thing that's a bit annoying is the battery door- the threading isn't particularly smooth, takes a bit of finger strength to lock it. I might try to put a drop of vg on it to lubricate, also on the o-ring, I'm actually going to do it right now. I can see why they went for such battery door though- there is absolutely no way the battery is coming out if you drop it. And I change the battery just twice a day, so it's a minor issue.

If you really don't need the battery door to be water resistant, just remove the o-ring and it should be smoother/easier to screw/unscrew the battery cap.

The o-ring requires extra pressure but it was actually the threading- from day 1 I could see it wasn't well made- with small indentations on the threads, causing crusty sound when closing and opening the door

I also saw it sold very cheap on few sites recently. Looks very nice but now that I've read your comment, I'm glad didn't get it

@stols001, we may yet see a dual 21700 Jackaroo mod from Vandy Vape.

And I manage to get over a day from a P42A using an SL Class between 0.4-0.5 ohms.
Yeah if I went higher on the coils I'd probably be able to go through the entire 9h shift without having to change the battery, but at 0.14 and 70W it's just impossible....

Freemax Fireluke 2/3 and Fireluke 22 have 0.5 ohm coils available, not too sure wether the M Pro/M Pro 2 has one as well but on that I could probably be wrong.
The Hohm Tech Run XL 21700 does have decent Mooch review.

But also take a look at the Molicel P42A - very popular 21700 among the vape community and with Mooch.

The P42A is often on sale at 18650batterystore.com for under $5.

Here's a good chart to take a gander at...

I just ordered 4 Molicel 21700 P42A. Thanks to your advice and I YouTubed it and watched battery Mooch review. I decided to order I will say the batteries that I have been using have performed well. I appreciate your advice.

I don't know what batteries you currently use, but the P42A Molicels are 4000mAh so they will be one of the longest lasting batteries suitable for most vaping applications. I think you'll be happy with them.

Also, since I can't compare to what batteries you've been using, realize these Molicels, Samsung, Sony etc batteries are OEM batteries, meaning they are not made for constant handling by consumers. As such they have thinner wraps on them than non-OEM brands. So keep an eye on the wraps, inspect them frequently, and realize that when you see any sign of wear you need to rewrap them. The wrap serves an extremely important safety function.

I read a post a few weeks ago on a non-vape forum where some guy knew a guy that took the wrap off an 18650 battery because he liked the way it looked better without the pink wrap on it . This caused an "accident" he'll likely never forget.

I have been using the Hohm Tech Run XL 21700. In the past, I tried to find the perfect battery and every review I found seemed to report none of them to perform like their label claims. I really think part of why I bought them is they looked cool and I went to a vape shop, the guy that worked there was using that brand. I believe these will be better and amazingly they cost less. The Hohm Tech Run XL 21700 cost about 12 dollars ea. They are reportedly performing a little less than the label claims. I had to succumb to the idea that none perform as they claim. I have battery wraps. I am excited about the Molicels. I can't wait to try them out. Thank you for turning me in that direction, I didn't know about them. Both the mods I ordered should be delivered tomorrow. 18650batteries are in Atlanta and I live in Alabama so they should arrive quickly with snail mail. I can't remember where but, I read the same story about that guy that removed the battery wrap.

That's right, you already mentioned the Hohm Tech batteries. Being those are not OEM batteries, they have much more durable wraps than the Molicels.

I also posted in this thread earlier that Mooch gave those Hohm Tech batteries a rather favorable rating. The P42A Molicels will last about as long as those, they are both ~4000mAh batteries.

I have a few Hohm Tech 26650 batteries and they work fine for me, but I'm a low wattage vaper so just about any 10+ Amp battery out there is fine for me.
