You're pushing a 60 watt mod with wire that big. A dual 8/7 wrap on a 3mm mandrel will bring you in at about .25 ohms. I wouldn't go much lower than that. Ask me, what you need is some 28ga wire to get coil surface radiation in a reasonable place and minimize time to vapor. With 22ga, I think you'll be shoving max watts and still be waiting on ramp up time. That's a lot of mass to heat with 60 watts. I hope you have a good battery.

Edit: building it single coil will be helpful, if you can adjust the air for it. You could shorten the coil a good bit to reduce mass.

22 gauge is pretty tough.. You're gonna want a lot of surface area with a large inner diameter if you want to stay within the limits of your battery.

If you're above .3 ohms, you should be fine. .22 is 20A at 4.2V, but it's good to have headroom in case there are fluctuations in resistance (which is pretty much guaranteed).

^As stated above, 22 gauge is gonna be a bit of a nuisance on the VTC Mini. Too much wire = large ramp up time, not enough wire = potentially dangerous. I'd suggest 26gauge if you can get it.
