Are you looking for free air flow for direct lung inhale or something that draws like a cigarette filter?

I've never owned the Griffin, but it has huge air ducts and appears to be designed for direct lung hits. reviews say that it's prone to whistling if you close the air flow down for MTL hits.

Griffin RTA Review - Vaping360

I you like mouth to lung, then there are prime choices like the Kayfun style atomizers. The most popular of those is the Kayfun Lite Plus V2. The K4 is a little finicky until you understand how to build it and learn the parts and how they fit together. There's also a Kayfun V5 out that appears to be the ultimate Kayfun model yet.

Someone will pop in here and give you more choices.

Ok I'll go Crius, I want something black or I'd go Avocado. To many cons on the Griffin, they say you can hear it at 50% airflow. My Tron atty screams too lol.

That looked like a pain to build on, think its 24mm too. No one here offers it, just the ijoy tornado which is pretty much the same thing from what I've heard.

the original Moonshot is 22mm. the newer version is 24mm. it's really not that big of a pain to build on. a little tougher than some, but once you've done it a couple of times, it's fairly painless. i have a tornado nano which is also awesome, also the Limitless RDTA and Avocado 24 which are my favorites, but they are 24mm which is why i did not recommend for your needs.

but the original Moonshot is probably the best vape i've gotten out of a 22mm RTA. i also like the small form factor. you do have to refill more, but it's quite easy on the moonshot.

Oh shop just got the moonshot, no response if its the 22mm yet. 2ml juice kinda sucks, no juice flow control and the same top fill con as griffen though. They have the Avocado original 22mm, prefer something black like my mod or clear like moonshot, tornado or mage. Crius just seems to have an overall advantage, not better flavour or clouds but just overall. I didn't notice much difference in flavour between a EVOD and Ego One sub ohm anyways so doubt I'd notice the difference anyways lol

I've had both the Crius and Griffin. Crius vapes good but its cheaply built. The outside is mainly plastic and it seeps juice all around the AFC ring. Common problem with it as the insulator is not PEEK so it tends to crack and seep juice from there. Such a pain, if you research it you will see lots of complaints. Griffin is very good, but I also prefer 22" tanks and the new version is 24" or 25" I think. I've settled on the Goblin v2. I love the flavor and it suites my restricted air vape style very well. I find the griffin is more airy if you like that kind of vape.

They have Goblin mini, same thing? Thanks for heads up on Crius, maybe I'll just wait a few months till something else is "the best" lol 22mm black OBS ACE would be perfect! Fingers crossed.

Be aware goblin mini v2 has topfill, version 1 does not. It uses a tiny screw on the bottom to fill, a big con. If yiu go for the goblin mini get version 2.
It's a very different tank than the griffin and crius. It's very nice though, but hard to wick right, not sure how experiened you are, but something to take into account.

My favorite 22mm is currently the Bellus, but also not the easiest to wick. If you can swing 23mm I highly recommend the Merlin.

From the 2 you mentioned I would go for the Griffin. The single coil plug for the 25mm also fits the 22mm, if that is of interest to you. (FT sells them).

Another tank that has got my interest is the UD EZ, seems very convient. I don't own one though, so can't speak from experience on this one.

Agreed Bellus is harder than Goblin, but somehow I have more luck with that one than with the Goblin.
I also agree that for the Goblin you just have to learn how as it is a bit different than others. I usually use the chimney trick, were I cut the tails at the top of the chimney and than just tuck them back in , works most of the time.
For small tanks I'm all over the Serpent mini now, very easy and very flavorfull, and you can MTL on it if you close it up to almost nothing LOL.
