So the first 24 hours smoke free for a long time.
Normally I would have a blinding migraine by now (yes I do really mean loss of vision).
vaping has made this so much better, apart from a slightly dry throat in the morning everything s fantastic.
It helps I made sure the nicotine level in the carts was higher than the content in the patches the last time I attempted to quit.

Today I also had nice vanilla e-juice arrive along with a passthrough to save the batteries exclusively for out and about.
Tomorrow a couple of flavours and other mixing gear should arrive along with a pack of cartomisers.

Best decision I ever made - of course I may still get some withdrawal effects being so newly into vaper.

Welcome vereybowring! Vaping is habit forming and relatively harmless according to the lab tests that we've seen. Ecigs taste better and let your lungs heal.

Spend some time in the library for an education on vaping. The ECF Library

There's a ton of info here. In no time, you will be well informed. (There are lots of helpful illustrations)

Get ready to be blown away friend

Drink lots of water, particularly when vaping ( that helps the sore throat ) but mostly it is just your body getting used to it.

I am over 2 weeks in... and I have no desire whatsoever for a cigarette.

I am jaw on the floor shocked at just how well this is working!

People are different, I tried several different juices but settled on one that was most satisfying and so am sticking with that one ( my wife likes that one too ). Others change juice all the time.

I feel like standing on a rooftop and screaming to the world… I can help you stop smoking… right now, with no pain, in fact a pleasurable experience of not smoking.

But no one but someone who is vaping would believe me.

My lungs don’t hurt anymore, my wife tells me I have stopped snoring and wheezing at night, I feel better, and have no withdrawals at all, I don’t even feel like I have quit, as I can smoke ( vape ) whenever I want to.

It's been at least 15 years since i was able to quit this long. Then every day was a struggle. This time it's wonderful. I don't even want to vape tobacco flavors. Anything but.

I have had a few intense moments but now it's more craving a good vape rather then craving a stinky Analog.

I hope it goes as smooth for you as it did for me.

Thanks all for the support, long may we all vape !

I think another reason I have found transition so easy is I have spent much of my smoking life, before vaping, smoking roll ups made with flavoured tobacco.
This means my taste buds are already used to flavorsome inhalation sensation.
I also used to smoke quite alot though so I think recovry could take some time for my poor lungs.
Last time I tried to give up I was on 16mg patches and still smoked 10-20 cigarettes a day.
With vaping with 18mg liquid I don't even crave real smokes.
