Reklis,
I have the Ego-T with a Type A, and an SR atomizer.

I was fully prepared for the first couple puffs to be bad - I was pretty surprised to have no problems at all. My atomizers had some oil on the outside of them that I had to wipe off, my guess is that they were pre-primed.
The throat hit surprised me at first - I hadn't expected it to be as forward as it was. But it was pretty pleasant. Thinking I may give an LR a go in the near future.

Congratulations! on your having quit too =)

The throat hit all depends on the nicotine level of your liquid... I normally vape around 18-19 nic level... its perfect for me for throat hit, nothing heavy and hours of vaping won't give me a headache or anything... higher nics can sometimes cause that and lower nics sometimes give no throat hit.
I started with 36 and 22/24 both were way to strong and 12 was too low ... so its just a bunch of testing on your own!

Good Luck!

I can't wait to get to testing...I'm excited about trying all kinds of delicious flavors!
Everything I have right now is 16mg - and it seems perfect for me. I'd like to get some a bit lower in the next couple weeks to begin bringing myself down. But for now, liking the 16mg.

Congrats Kwitten. For me this has been the easiest of all of my quit attempts so far. I have tried it all, even a generic e cig years ago that looked like the real thing. I was irritable and miserable the whole time, and was craving analogs every waking moment.
This time I have not had an analog for a week, and craved a little bit the first day but not at all since. Both my mother and my sister commented today about how happy I am right now. It is a great feeling to not only do something healthier for myself but to know that I am not spreading the misery of my addiction to others.
Keep on vaping!

Thats great!!! Know the feeling!!! I just received my Kgo today and absolutely love it... I have been a smoker for wow... almost 30 years... And with this, I actually think it is my ticket... The Blu's and others similar to those just didn't have the kick I was needing... The KGo has the kick and then some.... I wish you the best as we travel that road together...

My last pack of smokes ran dry about this time yesterday. I had been waiting on my starter kit praying they would last me through until it's delivery. Roughed it until the evening hours before figuring I had to go buy one more last pack of cigarettes. Checked the mail box on the way, and hallelujah - package received!!! I'm saved!

I'm really impressed with my new eGo-T. I was very optimistic about it, but had a healthy dose of skepticism about it too. It's pretty user friendly, and I like all of the liquids I bought.

In many attempts of trying to quit over the years, I've NEVER gone 24 hours without cheating somehow. I've always rationalized in some way that, well - it's okay if I only smoke a half a cigarette - or convincing myself that one before bed is okay, because I'd never sleep without it.

Not a cigarette in my house and I'm okay with it. So far, not having an analog hasn't hurt one bit.

Still feeling the pull to follow the usual smoking routine though - like going outside (never have smoked in the house). But....it's a beautiful day to vape on the porch :2cool:

Congrats and good job!!!!

I never smoked indoors too but I have to say that I vape indoors all the time. Its odorless, water vapor and all the bla bla bla everbody know so... I am happy :D

I am about 4 months w/o an analog (or hookah that I loved too).

So far so good too, which is awesome and I have to admit that I always thought that eletronic cigarettes would be something just for fun, then I realized that it really works!

Keep on vaping and be happy!
Congrats again!

Thanks all!!! I really appreciate the support!

Now for the not so fun part....I need to throw out the ashtrays and clean everything, because it all reeks of smoke.:glare:

I figure I might better do it right away.

Keep one, the crystal one. clean it up all shiny. Its a great place to put your e-cig so it doesn't roll off the table, and when you use it you will be proud that it never looked so nice.

2 months here and the best thing for me is actually going to hangout with smokers at work. The reason I say this they are now slowly converting themselves.

One thing you will notice you will spend more time talking about e-cigs and vaping then you ever talked about analogs. Not once did I ever have a conversation with anyone when I was on analogs about the technology, different kinds, taste etc that I got from them or was in them lol

11 days 4 hours and 18 minutes from my last analog here, and I'm not regretting it a bit. One thing that really gives me a boost is the spreadsheet that I created to figure all this to the penny and minute. I break even on 4/8/2012 7:48 AM. So far I've not spent $93.10 on smoking. After 1 year I will have saved $2,237.45 if I don't spend another penny. Of course, I plan on spending more because I'll need more fluids, and of course there is the siren call of the Darwin. Regardless, I know that I won't be killed by a cigarette that I'm not smoking. Unless the oncoming driver drops his in his lap...

Congratulations! Don't give up!

I have noticed this as well. At the start of the week I think I was driving my co workers insane, but as the week went on the slowly converted and started joining me in the ongoing conversations about tastes and not smelling like ashtrays. As of today three of my co workers are now ex smokers and current vapers:) My manager laughed at me today and said that I was a vaper pusher: I told him that I don't need to push anything, just let them try it and they realize that it really could work for them.
