3Rd Post here guys, Thanks for all the great info and advice! I've been lurking here for awhile and finally gave up Analogs for good last week.

Wish me luck!

I was searching the forum a couple of days ago for a power source for my pass through. I need a 240 Volt 50 Cycle because I live in the middle east. The model that Wal Mart and Cignot carry are both 110 Volt only.

Can anyone help me find one?

I want to mention that I had just been reading about the possibility of damaging a computer because of the high Amperage of the pass though. I use a KR-880D compatible model from V4L. I was using it on a very old desk top and sure enough it fried the USB! So be careful, it can happen!

Thanks In Advance

See if NewEgg.com still has the travel version of the Rosewill

(checking)

Yes!
Newegg.com - Rosewill 2 Amp 4 Port USB International Traveling Wall Charger RUC-6181 for iPhone/iPod/iPad/MP3

You are lucky - they stopped carrying the US-only one. I have 2 of the US ones - one at work and one at home. You can use any combination of things up to a max power consumption of 2amps (i.e 2000mA). Charging a normal slim ecig battery usually would use a 500mA USB to AC. Some you could charge 4 if their adapters will all fit (those short hard battery adapters can't fit next to each other in the small space but the cable kind can). And if you have a PT, see if you can find out its power requirements. Some need 1amp, some need a full 2amps (if your PT it needs 2amps then you can't charge natteries while using your PT)

The walmart iq dual usb 2a can also take 240/50 hz, I have several and checked the markings.
You would just need a plug adapter.
I have used these several months, happy with them.

Thanks. When I look online there is a comment from a customer saying that when the unit arrives it's 110 Volt, that's where I got my info from. Did you order online or buy in the store? The only option I have is having it shipped.

The package is marked full range, very clearly states worldwide compatibility, but the sticker is marked us voltage/freq.

I expect it really is full range, but you would need to e-mail steve campbell at tas electronics to confirm.

Www.tasdistributors.com is the url on the package.

(i actually bought mine from tas, they arre a registered supplier here)
