Im a newbie and my brother told me this should be ok. I have an efest 3.7v li-min IMR 26650 32A/64A battery. It hasnt had heating issues or any problems so far, but is this safe? I dont have an ohm meter yet. But does anyone run the same?
In terms of safety no one will be able to really say yes or no until its metered. That's the best way to ensure there are no shorts, loose screws, loose center pins. Until it is metered and shows a accurate consistent reading, its all just guessing.
.4 ohms roughly and 10.5 amps 44 watts roughly. No tester how you know their is no short and it goes lower ohms. Perhaps your brother just wants a good laugh even. CHEERS!
Yeah, in theory, should be well within the capabilities of your gear, but, since you have no way to measure ohms, it's well, unknown. so can't say, cause I don't know,
