Hello, I just build a Dual Parallel Coil with 24 gauge Kanthal wire, both coils are 6 wraps around a 7/64" drill bit. it was real fun to build, but I have one of those dumpy ohm readers right now that doesn't go past the tenths place decimal I had 5 wraps on each and it said .2ohms on my reader which leads me to believe it's anywhere from .15-.24 ohms (really a big deign flaw) now I made them both 6 wraps and I still get .2ohms on the reader. I can't remember wether more wire = more resisdance or what the exact equation is, my main question is: making each coil 6 wraps rather that 5 is my ohm reading now higher or lower than with 5 wraps?
P.s. I am using a sony VTC 4 30 amp battery safe down to .12ohms I believe so around .2ohms this build should be safe if I'm not mistaken
