Started out with 18mg pre-filled cartomizers and found myself vaping constantly to stay ahead of the nicotine fits. Just found out one of the big cigarette and cigar stores in town has 24mg and 36mg pre-filled cartos so I bought a 5-pack. Wow, what a difference! No more borderline nicotine fits all day. Very satisfying, though the flavor is not as sweet and it seems to have a little more harshness, but I find it pleasant, if that makes sense.

If any of you other newbies find yourself vaping constantly and not getting quite satisfied by it, jump up to 24mg. It really made a big difference for me. YMMV.

I started at 18mg and was the same way. Jumped to 24mg and all was perfect. At least, until my body said, "Right, that's just about enough of that." PArt of the reason that happened was that I went with a VV mod (more vapor), then Fluxomizer Deluxes (still more vapor) so I was really starting to overdose from all the extra vapor. I've dropped down to 12mg, and amazingly, the combination of higher voltage and the Fluxomizer's awesome vapor production makes it still hit like a champ. As far as that goes they still hit pretty well even on a 510 or eGo. So, no more OD symptoms and half the nic and I'm totally fine with it. I actually plan on dropping down to half that again, but not 'til my nic boosters get here, because the TH at 6mg is just way too low for me.

Well, I just ordered some manual KR808 batts. 380Mah. If they hit better than the stock I may have to modify that. So far 24 is perfect.

They may hit a little better just because you can preburn and bring it up to speed before taking a hit, unlike auto batts. But personally I couldn't get off 24 until I was on LR cartos and atty's. I needed the extra power to compensate the nicotine difference.

I'm looking forward to using a manual, plus I want to try out some juice. I tried filling a carto on the stock auto and killed my first batt, so not trying that again.

The trick to filling cartos for auto batteries it to fill while they're disconnected from the battery, and once full, blow out through the end to make sure all excess liquid is expelled. Then dry out the battery connector and you should be good.

i vape my brains out -- have at every mg level. i started out at 18, way too much...then went to 12, still too much...then 6, that was okay, but still made me a bit shaky...now at *3* and it's just right...strange, eh? (i sometimes wonder if i just dreamed that i smoked a pack and a half a day for 20 years).

Well, I blew it out and dried the end with a towel, but after screwing the carto back on the batt it died; wouldn't even charge anymore, so I did something wrong. At least the manuals are sealed so I have less of a chance of frying something.

Once I get my new batts, I think I'm going to order some BWB. :)

How long have you had the battery? You might have gotten a bad one. Most reputable vendors with give a 30 warranty on batteries.

i started 3.5 months ago at 24mg. i quickly dropped to 18mg and stayed there for about 2 months. for the last month i have been vaping 8-12mg and have not noticed any difference in the way i feel, so i am staying at 8-12. i figure it cannot be a bad thing to be using a lower level of nicotine, and if i feel fine the way it is, why change?

i do still have a bunch of pre made 18mg juices that i tape as well, and when i switch between the 8mg and the 18mg i truly cannot feel the difference.

Long as it works it's a good thing. I kept feeling like I wasn't getting my nic fix, so 24 really helps. Maybe when I get a better rig I'll end up dropping down.
