26650 regulated mods

What is the price range you're looking at? Vaporflask Stout is a forum favorite. Boxer 75W with the Yihi Sx350J v2 chip is the only 26650 battery mod I have and it performs as it should.
If you weren't really keen on a 26650 mod I'd say a dual 18650 mod is better and will last longer in terms of battery life.
Also, if you are willing to wait I'm sure most companies will be pushing out their DNA75 devices soon, seems like alot of them will be using the 26650 battery.

I currently own 3 different 26650 mods: Boxer75, Dani #6 and Presa100. I have 4 different brands of batteries for them, Boxer, eFest, MxJo and Basen.
Sadly all the batteries have very noticeable sag/droop on +30W builds. The Boxer is the worse with the #6 coming in at a close 2nd. I have not noticed droop with the Presa100. (maybe the battery indicator is NOT real time like the others?)
With lower power builds the 26650 mods can hold their own compared to dual 18650 mod's battery life (even sometimes bettering it) however if high power builds are your thing a parallel 18650 mod would be a better usage fit and have better battery life.

Parallel or series, shouldn't matter. The battery life and the drain on the batteries are the same.

In a perfect world maybe. However we don't live in a perfect world and the overly large step down from a series to vaping voltages naturally is less
efficient than a parallel configuration.
The switching regulators in these mods are not magic.
That depends on the coil and power setting used of course. Bucking is supposedly more efficient than boosting, and with .5 or above coils and 30-35w you're boosting if using single-battery voltage. I've noticed that higher power builds fare better on the Cuboid (series) whereas lower power builds have increased battery time on the iStick tc100w. In any case, it's way more complicated than simply saying that a parallel device has better battery performance.

However it is fairly easy to say that for higher power builds, a dual 18650 would be a better choice than a 26650.
