Hello, again -
Again, still not a regular poster. But, I wanted to celebrate my second anniversary of smoke-free life with y'all. I last had an analog cigarette on June 19, 2009.
Up to about a month ago, I was dripping using an M-401 and Dekang Hilton (mixed with VG and some homemade menthol drops). Obviously, it was doing fine. I was looking for some new M-401 batteries and came across the new Joye eGo-T type B tank system. OMG! What a marvelous invention!
I've been using the eGo-T for about a month now and couldn't be happier. I have the "B" type (more room in the tank). And, with the 650mah battery, versus the tiny one in the M-401, I go for a long time without a re-fill or a re-charge. Believe you me, BIG difference from always having to carry e-liquid for dripping. Very convenient.
I do use the wick mod invented/demonstrated by simple cj. Again, it's because I'm cheap! Those darn atomizers are expensive! With the mod, I can easily make my own. Plus, because I learned how to get the wick out - I now dry burn the atomizer also, which makes it taste better. They sure last longer than my M-401s did, a major bonus. Yeah, it's a learning process, but after the hassle of dripping, this is superb!
Oh, and thanks to Cignot for my starter kit shipping quite fast and in excellent condition - and for the extra atomizers. And, thanks to EVCigarettes for more atomizers (and for graciously allowing me to return the low resistance atomizers after I realized that LR is definitely not for me ... too harsh!).
It's great being smoke-free. No stink! I can sing the high notes again. I can easily walk up a hill without losing my breath (as much ... I am 49 after all...
). In truth, I don't notice that I'm not smoking any more. What I do is vape and that's me. Nothin' special. But, oh, what a marvelous thing it is! Two years ago, I would not have thought this would work. Amazing what being cheap would make a person do. I've actually crossed over into the saving money zone with these now. I have no idea what cigarettes cost any more!
Given the way e-cigarettes Just. Work. for me, I expect I'll be back in a year to celebrate my third analog-free year with you. For now, I'll just keep on keeping on with my Hilton e-liquid and my eGo-T. Just wanted to pass on assurances/a success story. E-cigarettes are awesome.
Happy vaping!
