I loved my first batch of gooey butter cake.. It was AMAZING I made that my go to juice. I re-ordered it and it is NONTHING like my first batch. I actually have no taste and it smells the same but it is no where near as yummy. Can someone explain why? Also what should I do.

It is getting colder out and you may have to let it steep for a couple days or week. With it being colder out the stuff doesn't mix during it's transit like it would when it is warmer out.

I recently got GBC and when I first tried it, it was more of a spiced aroma candle in a way but it smelled awesome. Within a day and a half it changed completely and is just like a gooey butter cake.

yea prolly just needs to steep, even if its 70-80 where you are, its prolly cold as hell where boB is and most stops on the way, while in the summer months, its sitting in hot as hell trucks and planes all the way to cali let it seek for a week or two, a d shake it up a bunch and it should taste the way it should soon,

By chance have you had a problem with any other juice tasting the same or is it just this one? I'll just toss out a few things.

Sometimes our taste buds can get used to a flavor and ya just need to try something different for a bit, like a minty flavor. Other times drinking some water with lemon can work for some, or using a tongue scraper and a mouthwash like Biotene for others. And then other times we just go through periods of dead taste where your buds are just cycling out. Not fun not being able to taste a thing!

If it's not that then like others have said, the weather where boB is at while he's mixing could also affect the viscosity or the molecules doing their thing. Thicker liquid (ones with higher VG) will take a bit longer to get the flavor in it. Given the lack of hotter weather in some states during this time of year, things don't get the time to mix like they usually would during transport.

You could try accelerating the steeping process with hot water. Heat thins the liquid allowing the flavors to get in. What you do is fill a cup, like a coffee mug, with hot water. Put your bottle in the cup and let it sit with the cap on. Pull it out and shake it every so often. Then let it cool to room temp.

As has been mentioned, we are shipping in a cold climate which doesn't allow the benefit of Pre-steeping/mixing due to the the viscosity changing and being thicker during transit. There are many factors to include as well, taste buds changing and you can get "burned out" on a flavor and it just doesn't taste the same. I know this happened to me recently with this flavor, I vaped it exclusively for 3 months and suddenly I couldn't taste it, I took a break and it's back to normal.

When comparing fresh mixed liquids you cannot compare them until full maturity. IMO all our liquids go out "vape ready" with the exception of needing a few days at room temp and regular shaking. Many of you probably don't know that GBC is a fairly clear liquid. I mix mine and within 3 days I notice a fair amount of color change so I would assume at least part of that change occurs prior to you receiving it.

My recommendation is to leave the lid off a few days (of course where it is safe and not accessible by kids, pets, etc.) and it should change. If after doing that in another week you don't care for it your taste buds may have changed and someone will be more than happy to trade you for it as we cannot keep up with demand for it.

But while you are waiting for a favorite to be steeped and ready to vape, that's when you can force yourself to try one of the new flavors you ordered. I didn't even order Caramel Cap -- the flavor that got me to come to KBV in the first place. If I did, the other flavors I wanted to try would have been ignored while I scarfed the whole bottle down.
