Hi! I took a piece of twisted 28 gauge and twisted that. I don't have an ohm meter at the moment, what should i build looking for a resistance between 0,14-0,25 ohms
Maybe one wrap on a 3mm mandrel, or 2 on 2mm. And that's .3. What device are you putting this on? Without a meter, I wouldn't try it on a single battery mech. Unless you meant dual coils, in which case 4/3 wraps each coil on 3mm should get you close to .3.
Sorry, just saw you twisted some already twisted.. Scratch everything I said.
It's an unregulated dual parallel 18650 box mod, i think that the wire is somewhat close to 22 gauge now, so maybe 4 wraps single coil shoud do the trick
right now i'm running a dual twisted 28 gauge setup, about 0,3 ohms, but i want to get somwhere around 0,15-0,2 for them clouds, only getting somewhere around 57 watts now so
4 strands of 28 twisted will have a descent amount mass for the resistance. You have some good headroom with VTC4s in parallel. I'd still be nervous building with wire I haven't used a bunch before without a meter.
3 wide spaced wrap duals has been my favorite for a while, sometimes four.
I'd go with 4 wide spaced wraps 3.6mm-4mm ID duals.
