3.1V and no Low V message?

The last few times I've used my Vamo, the Low V hasn't come on when the battery dropped to 3.1V. I thought that was the cutoff, and it should give me the Low V message. The vapor production gets very poor and that's how I realize the battery is dying. But the Vamo itself doesn't display Low V, it just keeps firing, but with the weak battery.

This is happening with newly purchased batteries. I don't know if it's doing the same with the old batteries. WHat's going on here?

What version Vamo? What kind of batteries, make and model?

Vamo V2. The batteries are Efest IMR 18350 800mah 3.7v High Drain.

Sounds like the Vamo has developed a little problem. Have you tried 18650 batteries?

I don't have any 18650's.

The Vamo is only 2 months old. Should I take it up with the vendor?

Well, it's from FastTech. I've heard mixed things, but it seems like it should be covered. I guess we will see.

I hope it works out for you. I've had a V2 since March and it works like a champ, but I have a V1 for a backup as well, just in case.

FWIW get a few extra batteries. I charge mine when they reach 3.6v. Maybe it's just a habit from being into R/C but they will last longer. They still last me about a day by doing this.
