I've had my pretty little raspberry Roughstack V.2 for a little over a year now. I love it. However, the button is brutal on my thumb and I have painful calluses from a year of pressing that danged button. I'm looking for a comparable tube mod with a more friendly button that also uses one 18350 battery and is under $50. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you!

You can look at the Bolt, which is a 18500 mod, plus the extension, which makes it work for an 18650. The best deal for both right now may be at Kalamazoo Vapor Shop for $36. Madvapes now has a plastic Bolt which is designed as an 18650 mod to start for about $20.

The joyetech Ego-T 18650 upgrade or V2 is a solid simple aluminum mod and can be run at 3.3 volt regulated or switched to unregulated 3.7 volts. It has a lit rubbery button and is the lightest metal tube mod I've used. It's about $22 at Kalamazoo Vapor shop or Stormy's Vapor Cellar, and Stormy's carries the tubes in many colors ala carte. It's easy on the hand and the Ego connection makes it very streamlined with the Ego Vision/Stardust as well as the ability to charge it with an Ego charger in a pinch. You can replaced the head for for $10 if you ever have a problem. It's my wife's main device and has held up through multiple drops.

The Roughstack is one of the smallest 18650 tubes, and the extended Bolt will be quite a bit longer of course to accomodate the switch. The Ego 18650 is just a little longer than the RS. As these are both chinese made mods the threads aren't as beefy as the RS, but with a little initial lube (noalox, vaseline, oil) they'll be smooth.

I'm sure there are other options but those are the two that I think give you a lot of bang for your buck. Good luck!

OOPS! I misread your post and thought it said 18650. The Plastic Gripper at Madvapes is about all I can find, and it's about $20. I'm using one right now and although it's not pretty or probably as durable as a RS it is very handy. The UDT-L mod is a new one from china that is just coming on the market, and has two tube sections allowing both 18350 and 18650 setups.

Sorry I hadn't gotten any coffee yet!
