So after all the reviews i've seen and read, Grimm/Scott/Phil - i've learned, we've all learned that we arent getting much more than an ego battery on these 1.5 DCC. it's pretty much regulating to around 3.4v, sometimes 3.8
What i've just done is when i do have a 1.5dcc tank, i pop it on a 3.7v box mod (unregulated) and on a fully charged 14500 i'm getting 4.1v (not underload) to the coils...which taste for a better vape.
I also went ahead and got rid of all my 1.5DCC, and went to 2.5ohm DCC or 3ohm DCC, or 2.5 ohm Singles, and they work much better on the lavatube.
I don't think it's the dual coil that brings the lavatube down in voltage, it's the ohms. You can still use a DCC on the LT, as long as it's in the 2.5-3.5 ohm range.
